TYSON Fury christened himself "the Nigerian nightmare'" before blasting heavyweight rivals Wladimir Klitschko and Anthony Joshua in a fresh rant today. The 28-year-old claims he wants to be back in action by September despite admitting he remains in the worst shape of his life to dethrone unified WBA, IBO and WBO heavyweight king Joshua in a lucrative all-Brit showdown. Read the article where Vitali said he blew the fight for Wlad. Vitali said telling Wlad not to go all out cost Wlad the fight. Vitali said it was bad advcie from him to Wlad.
Yeah of course Vitali's advice lost the fight was that after the knockdowns or before?
There's only one Nigerian nightmare -Samuel Peter he would probably beat this sh it out of furys fat ass too.
Finally a mention of the real Nigerian Nightmare!
Look who Wlad fought and beat down as champ a list of mostly bums and fall over nothings. Vitali was raised a commie and is still some cold war cold hearted mean sob who hates democracy. Wlad will be remembered a some big guy who was champ in a lousy era for heavies. Fury pounded Wlad and Joshua KO'd Wlad then
Jennings-pulev-leapai-povetkin-planeta-wach-thompson-mormeck-haye-peter-chambers-chagaev-rahman-thompson-Ibragimov-brewster-austin-brock-byrd-peter all average to below average boxers of no fame.
Tony Thompson twice and Peter twice two bums. tell me who wlad beat that was any good? Little Mormeck?
You don't know sh@t and I'm not wasting any real time on you. Just stfu, nobody wants to hear your ignorance here.
Vitali ain't no fricking legend just a big commie who accomplished little in boxing. Remeber when Vitali quit on his stool and gave up. Vitali should sit in the seats away from Wlad and keep his big mouth shut.
3 time champ who was 15-2 in world title fights with never getting dropped and having the 2nd highest ko ratio in hvwt history. I would say he accomplished plenty in boxing dipsh@t. And if you knew anything about Vitali you would know he's damn sure no communist. Don't speak on things in which you know nothing about.
Why are all these British fighters who are not even active like Fury and Froch keep talking **** about current fighters ? Either get back in the ring or shut up .
Vitali needs to shut his big mouth in Wlad's corner. Let the Kronk guy only speak. Brothers are not great advisors unless as trainers also. Wlad probably lost the Joshua fight listening to that 6'7" stiff Vitali.
VItali is a legend and you're an idiot. :nono:
Vitali>Banks 7 days a week and twice on Sunday so stfu red k man
They also apparently have amnesia when it comes to what happened before that rnd ,if anything Joshua MADE that fight more competitive bc he fought Klitchkos fight practically the entire time as hes stated next time he would try and end the fight early ,he gave Wlad to much respect and i agree with that bc i know Klitchko has NO answer for such an aggressive talent whos just as strong as he is ..
Definitely. Although aj can't afford to get careless but it was very obvious to anyone watching wlad was very very uncomfortable whenever josh upped the pressure. He definitely has it in him to end him early.
Why do ppl recreate what ACTUALLY happened is beyond me??lol
ITS ON VIDEO ? Like anything when someone wants to determine fact from fiction!
Less than 3 seconds Wlad leaped in witha left hook IMMEDIATLTY when the ref gave the o.k to continue after the standing count...He THEN threw a stright right 3 seconds after that intitial punch,he then was leaning on Joshua hitting him from underneath.( Wlad himself looked a bit winded..maybe from the knockdown he got ??smh) .
Joshua managed to stall wlad with a clinch ..a second break up was made and Joshua threw a left hook which made Wlad back up.smh. Wlad then continued to press him threw a right hand then left hook very shortly after...right hand AGAIN then a left that Joshua smothered...pushing him off...Wlad then throws a left hook ..then right hook..throws two more left hooks that miss and Joshua completely ducks.
He then throws a clubbing right hand which connects partially to the top of Joshuas head...joshua then clinches and forces Wlad back where THEN Wlad throws him into the corner. wlad presses misses a left hook..Joshua throws 2 jabs to end the rnd.....
yea Wlad LET him off the hook????:pat:
Wlad threw dozens of his trademark left hooks tryna stop Joshua, but slipped those punches Mike Tyson style. Watch the hightlights and see how many times Joshua bobbed and weaved around and under those left hooks.
Also, Wlad was programmed by Joshua to keep throwing that left hook. Joshua positioning was top notch when he was gassed. He kept drifting towards Wlad's left side, which had the effect of discouraging Wlad from throwing his right hand and actually inducing the throwing of the left hook, left hook which Joshua clearly trained for throughout training camp.
People like to act like Wlad let Joshua off the hook but that is not the truth at all. Joshua's preparation, ring iq and skills are the reason Wlad failed to knock him out. It's clear as daylight whether you watch the fight or the highlights, the only requirement to see it is that you have objectivity in your analysis and actually know what you're watching.
You boys are spot on. But that doesn't fit the narrative that aj is a plodder with poor footwork and no head movement so they just say "wlad let him off the hook" to avoid giving him credit for fighting smart when hurt.

That doesn't mean it was actually bad advice. That's what good brothers do, try and deflect blame. Wlad tried to get him out of there for a bit but it was clear that Joshua, while tired, still had his faculties and was still sharp enough , even while tired to avoid big shots. Vitali had the best advice. Had Wlad went for it earlier, he may have stopped Joshua but he was guaranteed to stop himself if it didn't work. At least he was in a position to win at the end had he not started getting caught hard in the 12 rd.
I had Wlad winning the fight at the time of stoppage.

It's called getting old Tyson Fury. Just keep fighting professionally for another 12-15 years and you will know exactly what I am talking about.
As your career progresses, you are going to lose some of your stamina, speed, timing, accuracy, hand to eye coordination and reflexes also.
Wlad simply blew his chance to beat Joshua after the knockdown. But does Wlad have a killer instinct? Bad advice between rounds from that commie robot Vitali didn't help either in saying Josh wiill get tired later on. But Wlad is not mentally tough either. more feeble minded and soft.
Vitali's advice was spot on. Joshua did get tired. The only thing was he caught a second wind and landed the right shots at the very end. Simple as that. If Vitali said go for it, Wlad would have gassed out and possibly got stopped worse and earlier.
