they really should just cancel the 168 tournament and save those purses for another tournament down the line. 200 is amazing, 168 is trash in comparison.
lol, yea the only thing that polish dude is good for is a very high score in scrabble.
Kalenga would be more fun, you see his fight with the Cuban dorticis (sp) ? both went down multiple times.
Not keen on makubu since he let me down and got sparked by ricky ****ing conlan :(
Dorticos/Kalenga was a FOTY candidate. Outstanding war. Makabu did knock down Bellew before that KO, has wins over Kucher and Mchunu as well. The fight that you could have guys like this waiting as substitutes in case of injuries is crazy.
Well all the fighters will have to stay injury free and fight each other (unlike the s6 in which some guys were replaced with lesser names) AND the guy on top will have to have put in impressive performances then maybe there's a shot at p4p no. 1.
I disagree. Beating 2 top5 names in one of the most competitive divisions in boxing is a better resume than what Ward, Roman or Golovkin can come up with. You become the undisputed cw King.
In a tournament like this, he's the kinda guy you know will get outboxed and beaten up at some point, but he's gonna take a scalp or 2 along the way. Was reading that Makabu applied and Kalenga wanted in to get a rematch with Dorticos. The group is so good, they might have said yes to Wlodarczyk too soon lol

I'm really hyped for this tournament.
Each time a new name is mentioned, I've been halfway through typing out a txt to a mate to tell them all about it. Then just stop, because if it's not someone named Mayweather or Pacquiao, or a SKY PPV, then they haven't got a clue :lol1:
Those are some bad ass guys being mentioned. Imagine when they are all in a room together and it's time to pick each other out when they are sorting their own fights !
If you're the dude with the 2nd to last pick and you gotta decide between Glowacki and Kudryashov. Fuuuuuuuck

sweet baby jesus
i tell thee now, if he detonates that left hook ruskie hammer from hell on an foo, they are going night night!
p4p greatest goatee in the game. i guarantee you this, he will never ever be in a fight that goes beyond 8 rounds, win or lose :lol1:

The winner of this tourney has a legit shot at P4P #1, which never happens at CW. The entrants are all top fighters, many of whom are undefeated (Gassiev, Usyk, Briedis, Dorticos), including some highly experienced veterans (Glowacki, Wlodarczyk) and some scary mofos like Kudryashov.
PLEASE put Gassiev and Kudryashov into a bracket together. Just imagine the fireworks.

Usyk is close to signing doesn ot equal he has signed.
If this works out, it's gonna be a fun tournament although I don't see the need for Usyk v Glow 2. ALso would have liked Huck in there and Leb.
Kudryashov is in according to this dude, which would put us at 7 including Glowacki and Usyk.

The CW scene is the main thing that's kept boxing alive for me the past few years but this tournament seems to good to be true.
I pray everything goes as smoothly as possibly.
Its going to be a betting nightmare but Dorticos is the darkhorse for me.
I don't think Kudryashov quite belongs certainly not from a boxing ability or athletic standpoint but his power could well say otherwise. I'm not joking when I say his power scares me. That left hand is evil.
Absolute freakish one punch power.
I really rate briedis .
Usyk will be favourite but he is overrated for me. Was not impressed by him vs mnchunu and I caught glimpses of him vs hunter. He seems repetitive.
Regards to the tournament, its great and should happen in every division . with the plethora of belts there's no narrative for casuals to follow but this tournament has a definitive winner . Ufc has one champion and one interim belt holder to signify the number one contender.
