With a little bit of research one can find out that Ward has some dangerous people promoting him which is not unusual to boxing. But the more I rewatch the Kov-Ward II fight I cant understand why Referee Weeks and experienced ref stopped it like that. He let Ward go down in the first fight and gave him the opportunity to fight back to a win. He by all means should have at least gave Kovalev a count. It's odd to say the least and Weeks who has officiated many big fights before I don't think was influenced by money. It's worth some looking into to find out the activities of Weeks days before and after the fight. Weeks was more than likely made an offer he couldn't refuse.
He didnt even ref the first fight
:lol1::lol1:
Kovalev continued to display horrible body language, he didn't do himself any favors, I don't know why Week's stoppage was all that surprising. Don't get me wrong, I thought it was a little early as well but Kovalev was done, and constantly looking for Weeks to help him out didn't help him.
lol pfft what's with all this context... I heard all that matters is if the very last punch is legal doe
You are just guessing and nobody is ever going to look into the matter. I seriously doubt anybody threatened him. He isn't a very good referee and he made a wrong call. He said he made an honest mistake after watching film of the ending.
Your thread backfired on you because you didn't even get basic facts about the referees right! Maybe they just look the same to you, or YDKSAB. I don't blame you.
Cheers yo!
Yes. His family was tied up in the back of the arena with ball gags in their mouths and guns to their heads the entire fight.

They had his daughter tied up in a Brooklyn basement
Was she tied up above or below the navel?
Does she have special anatomy?
