People talk about Ward's holding but it was Kovalev doing a very large percentage of it, rabbit punching and then attempting to use the ref to neutralize actual clean body work which you would think is beneath Kovalev. There just isn't any room to complain anymore, this whole Ward being dirty gets way too overblown. I won't defend the headbutting against Kessler but even then he showed he was the far superior fighter.

Kov fakes a low blow: When Tony waved the fight off, though I felt it was a little early, but thought back to ^this and figured that Tony was not taking this bullshyt and wasn't going to let this guy sit on the ropes, not fighting back or taking a knee, and get away with it. Had Kov not cried wolf, Weeks might have seen the last mele differently.

Kovalev was clearly the dirtier fighter in both fights, from holding to rabbit punching and ref baiting. I hate that I even have to mention this, I honestly would not if his fans didn't complain about Ward's tactics.

It is very clear we are dealing with a fan base that is comprised of degenerates.

Kovalev also voluntarily turned his back to Ward. Some referees can DQ on the spot for this. Kov admitted in his post fight interview that the last body shot was borderline.

its ok he can do that..Ward can be fouled all fight and its cool..just like they loved Tony Week when he allowed Maidana to fight like an animal..They ignore everything other fighters do because they want certain fighters to lose by any means This is so true LOL The same guys who complain about Ward all loved it when Maidana fought dirty against Floyd.
