heavyweight....
i know this is a sore subject for golovkin fans....i know they dont want to talk about this...they want reality to go away
but for months loeffler and sanchez said it wasnt relevant...ward needed to get his name back and if it made business sense it was something they would look at
wellll....the time has come...obviously ggg has to beat canelo first and thats no given....but hes still the favorite......so....should he win its now one of the biggest fights in boxing that can be made below heavyweight.....no question
golovkin 5-10.5...70 inch reach....ward 6ft 71 inch reach........brook jumped up 13lbs.....ward was definitley smaller than kovalev despite what measurements you may have seen...it was obvious to the eye
so golovkin moving up to meet ward at a catchweight around 170-172 is totally feasible and now a biggggggggggggggg fight
you cant keep running and hiding lil gee....but you will...and your fans and the media will continue to let you too
SHAMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I wd never want to fight such a dirty b1tch in a country where the rules don't work in favour of you and the judicial bodies are biased.
everything seems to be going fine for golovkin the usa ...lol
he even managed to shamelessly duck ward here in the US without any backlash from the media...this after running his mouth about how can beat anyone at 168
I think it's a good fight. Would like to see GGG completely unify mw, fight for a title at 168, and go for the super fight at a catch weight against Ward. If he manages to do this and beat Ward as well he'd be a legend.
No one on earth is saying that GGG has a better resume than Ward. So What is your point?
The thing Ward fans usually say is that GGG ducked Ward based on What Abel said about fighting anyone from 154-168. If that is the case then Ward is also ducking Joshua
omg...please...smh
If GGG beats Canelo (Which i dont think he would), then he has some great options. Rematch Canelo or Jacobs, fight saunders for the final belt or fight Ward at 168. The most lucrative one might be canelo but the Ward fight would definitely seal his P4P legacy.
like ive said several times
one is reasonable and feasible...the other really isnt.....but andre ward has proven himself with the super 6 and two wins over a fellow top 5 p4p fighter
the other guy barely scraped by dan jacobs and is now fighting a guy with 0 wins at MW.....
it has nothing to do with being a ward fan...one is reasonable ....the other isnt....its fairly simple to understand

I don't see this happening soon for a few reasons:
1. Golovkin has to get past Canelo.
2. If Golovkin wins he'll probably do a rematch or unification (WBO).
3. He is 35 now, at 36+ it'd be even more difficult to move up and take on the biggest challenge out there.
4. Both guys may consider retirement before the fight becomes realistic.
5. Ward may move up before Golovkin is willing to go to 175.
Obviously the one big reason why it could happen is if there is enough money in the fight, then Golovkin would be willing to take on the challenge. I'm not sure how big this fight could be given the surprising lack of interest in Ward-Kovalev.
#1, and only, reason....golovkin is scared to get that work
how old was nard when he went up and fought top lhw?...yet somehow golovkin fans want his name mentioned in the same breathe as nard....smh
ward would def "stay put" at 175 if he thought golovkin would fight him...heck hed prob even do a catchweight for it.....but he already knows how little interest golovkin has from when he actually asked golovkin to fight at 168 almost 2 years ago
curt, curt, curt, (or whatever the f*ck your name is)
"critical acclaim" does not make a "big" fight. Calzaghe-Kessler is a prime example. No matter how much you want to fluff up Ward, the bottom line is that the average casual fan couldnt pick him out of a lineup. Similar story for GGG, although likely not as bad as Ward.
Perhaps the Canelo fight will get GGG some more mainstream appeal, but at the moment a GGG-Ward fight would be unmakeable, given the obvious financial obstacles.
And yes, I have a MAJOR disdain for Ward, because I know what kind of a man Dan Goossen was, and I know what a lying piece of sh*t Ward is, and what he put Dan through the final few years of his life. But but but Son of God doe. Ward is like one of those TV preachers quoting the bible nonstop and then banging his secretary in the rectory.
And why do you act as if I have some personal stake in whether Ward gets named #1 P4P by the media or fans?? Who gives a sh*t? If Ward and GGG ever fight (unlikely as that is), I will be pulling for GGG but whether he wins or loses, the sun will still rise the following day.
every word you type, plus the meme you have in your sig, suggest the sun will not "rise" the next day should ward beat golovkin.....its one thing to lie to me...but dont lie to yourself terry
Blah, blah, blah... Shut up. :lol1:
A fighter's trainer said his fighter would move up and we are gonna hold him accountable for those words. End of story.
You guys made the rules. And we're just following them.
The trainer isn't the fighter or the promoter. Sounds like you are making up rules that don't exist.

terry, terry, terry
heres what may pain you to acknowledge.....the boxing media and fellow fighters respect ward.....ward will now undoubtedly climb to the top of every p4p list...hes relevant...whether you like it or not.....
floyd wasnt fun to watch either...and his personality was fake.....theres nothing wrong with wards personality...if you insist there is then i would venture to say you just have a general disdain for him that will never be cured no matter what he does.....hes a decent guy....conducts himself well....and his personality is no worse or better than the average top level fighter......he actually is pretty intelligent and insightful if you listen to him without your poop colored glasses on....
wards name rings bells in the boxing game....it did before he came back anyway(despite what the EE fanboys insisted).....
him vs golovkin would be one of the bigger fights in boxing left.....you are hiding behind your screen and lying through your teeth if you deny that......you couldnt look me in the eye and tell me it wouldnt be if you are a real man
"would i like to see ward put on the floor...sure who wouldnt"...says it all...everything youve typed is a lie...you are the king of wishful thinking

a fighters trainer said it? what about his promoter trying to make 2 fights there and constantly throwing out the names of 168 guys as potential opponents over the last 3 years? lol.....
the irony of you telling me to shut up....youve added nothing but nonsense and its obvious you are another lil g apologist
weve already been over this you simpelton troll
ward has already moved up...he now has moved up and has 2 wins over a fellow top 5 p4p fighter...he has at least 4 wins at 168 that are dan jacobs level comparible
golovkin hasnt moved...and brings up ww and jr mws...lol...why dont he call out ward after he "knocks out canelo"? bet he wont....even though his managers said if it made sense theyd consider it....its now a big fight and ward is relevant again.....so wheres golovkins phone, email and pen?
you golovkin superfans are getting bent over a barrel and shown the 50 states...getting taken to the woodshed here
Blah, blah, blah... Shut up. :lol1:

golovkin wouldnt fight ward if lil g was allowed to dip his hands in glass and ward had to wear pool floaties with 15lb weights in them
