I somehow doubt Andre Ward stops Martin Murray either. The reason why GGG gets as much credit for beating Martin Murray is because he stopped him, which none of those other boxers did. Martinez was already past it when he fought Murray, his prime was short lived since he was so old. A boxer who hasn't been knocked down in only 40 bouts isn't the same as someone who hasn't been knocked in over 400 boxing bouts who is also the age of 35. Chavez is also younger than GGG. You don't know ggg's amateur history, you didn't even know about the standing count against Bute. The fact of the matter is that Chavez Jr has NEVER been down in the pros and has taken some of the hardest hitters at 160's punches with 0 problem despite being completely drained. When he fought Fonfara he re-hydrated to 190+ and still got put on his ass. Chavez at 190+ is as durable as they come. Doesn't matter. Point is, he has never come close to getting dropped. GGG may have fought journeymen, but he has destroyed pretty much all of them unlike Andre Ward. There's NOTHING in Alexander Brand's record that tells me he is any better than Martin Murray. That was the best punch of ward's career. He put everything he had into that shot and it signaled the beginning of the end for kovalev. I kind of feel like we were sold a bag of goods on kovalev. Don't get me wrong, he's a good fighter. We were sold a "great" fighter though.
