Is this still a prevailing opinion in the Boxing world?
I've heard Bob Arum said some stuff like this in the past too.
(paraphrasing from this video interview)
Not true. Only a matter of time before blacks take over the sport. Already, Anderson Silva, Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier is the greatest existing MMA fighter skill wise p4p not conor mcgregor. Later down the road it's gonna be the same as boxing again. Blacks are just born and genetically at an advantage with sports requiring supreme athleticism. I don't think it's gonna change for generations to come.
MMA is for those who like to rub their dicks on other men's asses. Or just for those who like other men to rub their dicks on their asses. You dont need to be white, there are white, black, yellow, red, purple men who like dicks and asses, it's not a matter of race. And that's ok, mate, that's fine, everybodoy like what they like.
Mayweather is one of the best, if not the best, fighter I've ever seen. But he's a complete *******.
Let's revise it to "a significant presence". In theory there should be even fewer white boxers than there are.
Just contrasting the American perspective (black minority is over-represented in sports, whites considered unathletic) to the global big picture (whites, an even smaller minority, are even more over-represented in sports).
A curious observation.
I don't know nearly enough about most other sports, especially about sports Americans are not known for competing in meaningfully internationally (Soccer etc), to offer a theory about that difference in racial representation.
I would have guessed closer to 15%
Anyway, it's your opinion that it's a surprise a group comprising what you say is about 10% of the global population has any prescence in international level sports/athletics at all?

And this racial comment authored by "floyd" is news today. The same day that showtime aired a california black riot doc. Amistad was aired. 12 years a slave was shown back to back, the black panther movie is being hyped, bet awards are tomorrow ( sure to stir up racial tensions like last year)
Some racial violence/ distraction will happen in july. Theyre making sure.
It's around 10% depending on how strict your definition is.
If you only consider fair Europeans white then it's in the low single digits.
The number is rapidly shrinking, too.
A lot of Americans don't seem to know this because or our funky usage of the terms "majority" and "minority".

:lol1: What?
What do you think the percentage of people globally who are White is?
It's around 10% depending on how strict your definition is.
If you only consider fair northern/western Europeans white, then it's in the low single digits, and they are slated to become minorities in their own countries by around 2050.
If you include mediterreans/northern middle eastern people and slightly mixed people, then it's a bit higher.
Either way, the number is rapidly shrinking.
A lot of Americans don't seem to know this because or our funky usage of the terms "majority" and "minority".
White people are such a tiny % of the global population it's kind of amazing that they have any presence in international level sports/athletics at all.

So what Floyd is saying is in the ring we dominate but in the street we get our asses handed to us.... LOL talk about admitting your a beta. C'mon now Floyd playing that race card is so 1950's.
Being an atheist is very PC.
Really? Is that why the DNC discussed using Bernie Sanders being an athiest in those leaked emails to try and ruin his chances at winning the primary?
GTFO with that noise. I'm supposed to say it's all good because he's promoting? That's just as bad as people saying Kovalev didn't really understand he was being racist by calling Stevenson a monkey.
If you're cool with it, that's fine. Doesn't mean I'm supposed to give him a pass. In doing that, I'm just as bad as Freedom and the others.
You can feel how you want about it, I can't tell you that...
I AM saying, floyd is promoting, and being the villian, and you should expect more of it. If you take it too seriously, you probably shouldn't pay attention to ANYTHING having to do with this fight in the next 2 mos....Conor will be going in too. They're promoting a circus....expect circus sht to be said.
Floyd has made racist remarks before against Asians, and you got the same nuthuggers defending/supporting him while attacking GGG who's a pretty respectful and calm guy all around, claiming his fans are racists. The irony.
I can't deny that... as far as a segment of the fans go. Yeah there are a lot of those type of fans.
But as far as the fighters...?
I like the fighters. I'm not too thrilled about their jack of all trades deal they got going on though. Alvarez is mainly a grappler but he tried to strike against Mcgregor and got ktfo. Rousey tried that stuff too. But they're interesting characters just like boxers.
Cheap and unnecessary. If Floyd wants to sell a fight he has plenty of legit ways to do it. Resorting to racial shyt is just trash.
This video/quote is from a while ago, it's not about the Conor fight.
Real talk I see MMA as a fratboy sport for stupid ass college casuals.
I can't deny that... as far as a segment of the fans go. Yeah there are a lot of those type of fans.

I do. I remember the Chuck Liddell days. Them boys thought their shyt didn't stink, until rampage phucked the whole thing up.
I see a few redneck boys here and there talking about UFC, I guess that's all they can talk about 'cause they're irrelevant in the sport of boxing. Blacks and Browns own the sport.
I guess that's why they love guns so much? They can't catch a fade like real men, cause they would get stomped the phuck out. Real talk.
Well, it all got started with Latinos wrecking shht, er, Brazilians anyway at first.
Royce Gracie = Brazilian
Vitor Belfort = Brazilian
Frank Shamrock = Mexican-American
Tito Ortiz = Mexican-American
Tito Ortiz was the first true superstar of the sport. Chuck Liddell, Randy Couture, Matt Hughes were all Caucasian-Americans who ruled in the mid 2000's but it's not like others haven't.
Lots and lots of non-White/non-Americans have been stars & champs in MMA; Kazushi Sakuraba, Minotauro Nogueira, Fedor Emelianenko, Takanori Gomi, BJ Penn, Anderson Silva, Shogun Rua, Rampage Jackson, GSP, Jose Aldo, Cain Velasquez, Jon Jones... on and on... were non-White Americans
The MMA GOAT -- There are only 3 or 4 fighters that have a claim for being the GOAT in MMA and none of them are Caucasian-Americans...
- Anderson Silva = Afro-Brazilian
- Fedor Emelianenko = Ukrainian/Russian
- Georges St Pierre = French-Canadian
- Jon Jones = Afro-American
