I'm calling it right now. This promotion, the issue with Jackson, losing his titles the last fight, now his money issue. He'll get frustrated at some point during the fight when it's not going his way and he'll crack and quit.
If Kovalev gets robbed again foreign fighters should stop fighting in America unless the comish agrees to judges not american
Agreed. There is a reason foreign fighters have the stigma of getting a title, holding it, and avoiding American soil for a bit.
They know once they fight in America, everything, I mean absolutely everything is stacked against them.
Completely different circumstances...
Loma absolutely schooled Walter's and every round was dominant and one-sided.
85 percent of
People thought Kovalev won the first fight. He hurt Ward and put him on his ass hard. Kovalev clearly won 10th round but they gave it to Ward. The 12th round was very close but Ward was given it by all judges.
There is absolutely NOTHING to suggest Kovalev will get beat badly, to the point where he would feel as if he didn't have a chance.
Kovalev is about as mentally strong as they come and has the epitome of a fighter' s mentality.
Yeah he is pissed he was robbed in the first fight, and that YET AGAIN the Nevada commission assign ed ALL THREE AMERICAN JUDGES, as Ward wouldn't agree to Kovalev's request to bring in neutral officials.
Off topic, but goes to why Kovalev is frustrated.........Just like when Floyd was trying to implement VADA over the Nevada athletic commission's drug testing - LET THE COMMISSION DO THEIR JOB, right?
But come fight night Kovalev' s mind will be solely focused on winning the fight.
What suggests he is so mentally strong? Seems to me he got quite discouraged in the first meeting, while Ward taking the knockdown, only got stronger. I think you're letting fanboyism get in the way of logic. Yes, Loma was schooling Walters, how do you know Ward will not do the same tomorrow?
For the record, I had Ward winning the 10th because kovalev had blood start flowing which indicates he did more damage. I also don't know where you're getting 85% either. Can I see that stat, and please don't send me a link to a forum poll.
Huh what makes you think that? He seems composed as ever in every interview I've seen
Idk, I had the same feeling and actually told my friend that Walters would quit vs lomachenko. Just his overall demeanor, the fact that if especially Ward dominates him in the early part of the fight, kovalev will know he can't win, and will just quit.
Kovalev is a moron. Duva should be embarrassed by his behaviour. Instead she laughs it off and encourages it.
They are trying to sell a ppv fight. Controversy sells
lol wishful thinking from you're brain dead ass. kovalev has never showed any signs of being a quitter. the guy is a mentally tough russian bad ass if anything he's more motivated than ever before to whoop andrea's ass. war krusher! :headbang::headbang::headbang:
he quit at the press conference lol!
Ward is more like Golota, with his low blows.
Did you mean to say, "he got alotta low blows from pulling his opponents head down"? Maybe kovalev is g@y
Wouldn't be surprised at all if that happens, it seems that he got mentally affected by every little thing that happened which is not always good for boxing. But maybe he's trying to motivate himself, we don't know. But if he does quit I wouldn't be surprised at all.
we've seen kovalev in rematches and he's even better the second time around. he destroyed boone and pascal in the rematches much more so then he did the first time he fought them. kovalev outboxed andrea in the first fight he may very well slaughter him in the rematch.
Journey man Boone and a dead pascal lol. Keep dreaming though
I don't think you can say. I remember all kinds of confidence and talking and posturing and none of that mattered once you got in the ring. And I'd see the flip side guys who were soft spoken and were mean mothers, seemingly unbreakable in the ring. But I agree it brings intrigue will he break or will it make him unstoppable? But mostly who ever brings the best skills, what ever that be, power, speed, timing etc, that's usually who wins, the talking, the circumstance, seldom means much.
Really to a degree that's why I like boxing so much, there's just no hiding, doesn't matter what you say, just what you bring.
LMFAO....was your daddy korean
