Wilder said he had a big announcement coming up a little while ago (btw, 2nd-3rd time he had a "big announcement") and now again we hear nothing from Wilder's camp. So what gives? Why does Wilder even bother saying he has a big announcement coming soon when he even won't announce anything?

Every Wilder big announcement ends up being that he will defend his title against yet another heavyweight not ranked in the top 20 heavyweights in the world. It also ends up with the fight being in Alabama against a guy with loses on his record who most fans have never heard of before.
