Ward is an ATG so props to Naz for finally getting a prediction right. We'll ignore his Cunningham Fury prediction or all the other missed ones.
3rd is a fa g who cheated going to the balls at all times and who got a gift in the first fight just because we needed a superhero to act above the Russian villains.
Hollywood is at it now..... Just go watch Marvels's brainwashing sh it.
It's in reference to the OP saying Kovy was never hurt in the first fight.
Kovy went 12 rounds with Chilemba, but he never fell down or looked tired. Against ward he was falling down (twice) and noticeably tired...that doesn't just happen on accident. As a Ward fan I can admit Ward was hurt several times, but it's just ignorant to pretend Ward had nothing to do with Sergios shortcomings
well the difference is chilemba didnt grab him and throw him into the ropes. kovalev didnt fall down on accident. he fell down because ward grabbed him and pushed him. i dont see how thats hurting your opponent but once again ward defenders have to make something out of nothing because they have no substance to prove ward actually deserved to win. just post the video of ward hurtin kovalev with his brutal punches its pretty simple. you wont do it because it doesnt exist. if you post some laughable vid of ward throwing kovalev down you will be ridiculed so you just have your words which dont correspond with reality unfortunately
Strategically they need to keep Kovalev from inflicting damage early. So they're doing everything they can to get inside his head and keep him from coming in on a mission to destroy. They know their only chance is a decision and they need for Kovalev not to know that. If Kovalev comes in this time thinking he needs a KO to win, that's a tough night for Ward.
I would love for Ward to step up and out class Kovalev like I thought he was going to the first fight but I just think Kovalev is too strong. I think Ward loses badly this time, but at the same time I'm proud of him for taking the fight.
i still don't understand (or believe) how some people really believe that wart actually hurt kovalev to the body, i've even read some people saying that at the end kovalev needed the ropes to stay on his feet
"wart" :lol1: Andre Wart
I'm not sure what Kovalev can do differently in this fight other than try harder to get a KO. I don't see Ward getting a KD but I also don't see Kovalev getting another One either. I'll be the first to admit I was wrong if this fight goes any other way than it did in the first fight minus the KD.
gotta admit...Ward looks laidback and cool in his black jacket when Kovalev tells him he's gonna destroy his career
All an act. Hes really shook af and overcompensating by excessively staring kovalev down trying to scare him or some ****. Kov just doesnt give a ****k.
So basically you're saying Ward hitting Kovalev in the body had absolutely no effect on Kovalev? It was overtraining and trying to wrestle the smaller Ward is what caused Kovalev to tire out.
oh yeah, the smaller man lol sure.
the only one who seemed hurt to the body was actually ward in round 12.
I have seen the punch Kovalev knocked Ward down with replayed many times. It was a short arm punch without much body weight in it. If Kovalev had landed his long, heavy straight right with his weight behind it Ward wouldn't have beat the ten count in my opinion. I am saying Kovalev dropped Ward with a punch that wasn't even close to being his best punch. Kovalev's Sunday punch is a hell of a lot harder that that.off topic, but have wanted to ask... is your forum name in any relation to Indians Bolio? I've got a few Bolio dogs that's why I'm asking.
So you believe Kovalev got winded from overtraining?
what i believe is irrelevant, maybe he did overtrained? but if you are really interested (i don't think so) imo he got tired trying to out wrestle ward. i don't think ward's body work did a thing to him, i mean, he couldn't even hurt brand, who was an undersized super MW fighting at lhw, also he was like 40.
Before the Mosley-Mayweather fight he said Mosley is gonna get an opportunity early on and he's gotta take advantage of it. Because Floyd will shut that window of opportunity just as fast as it opens
he said floyd would become a dragon and start breathing fire. i dont remember that happening hes a liar!
don't get me wrong, i don't think it was a walk in the park for kovalev either, it was a tough demanding fight for him too and is true that he looked visibly tired in the second half of the fight but it's hilarious how every time they tell the story about the fight they keep adding new things
the chilemba fight was a tough demanding fight but no one pretends that chilemba won because he has no delusional fanboys on here and boxing politics didnt give him the win
Kovy tumbled into Ward and fell down...but that had nothing to do with Ward. Kovy fell into the ropes...for the fuck of it. For some reason many posters here lack basic common sense
are you talking about the time they got tangled up and ward threw an off balance kovalev into the ropes? that would be pretty pathetic to pretend that had something to do with a ward punch and not wards wrestling but when you have no substance to go on you just make up things
There are millions of boxing fans and every one of them has an opinion on how the rematch will go. Nazim's opinion means no more than any other boxing fan. His predictions on future fights are not always spot on. If they were he would be a very rich from betting on boxing. Nazim said what you wanted to hear so you start a thread on it. If Nazim had picked Kovalev you wouldn't have started a thread about it. You say there will be lots of hurt feelings after the fight based solely on the opinion of Nazim. That is stupid BS. When the fight is over we will see who's fans get their feelings hurt. You are gloating and boasting on Ward's KO victory over Kovalev a week too early as if you know the future before it happens. When the real fight happens it just might be Kovalev who knocks Ward down an out. There is only one KO artist in this fight and it isn't Ward.
I will surely bump this thread when sergey gets put on his ass...

And Kovalev was never able to land his money punch for the remainder of the fight. Which leads me to believe that he won't be able to do it in the rematch. Kovalev can fight, but if you look at his history, he has never had to make adjustments in a fight before since he dominated most of his opponents, even Hopkins. I don't think we will see anything different from him, but whether you think he won or not, Ward was largely able to neutralize Kovalev's right hand with movement and his jab as well.
