I have to say we have seen a lot of quitters in boxing but not as much on the championship level. Guys like Victor Ortiz, Oliver McCal, And now the Special Needs kid Kell Brook.
Is Kell Brook the biggest active quitter in the sport of boxing. He quit not once but twice and in a row. Even Ortiz hasn't quit in his hometown. And stop with the excuses and the lies, many fighters have fought with broken jaws, broken ribs, broken rotators, broken eyes, broken hands, broken shoulder and even broken orbital bone and so on.
Like they say "When There Is A Will There Is A Way"
Is that what will happen when brook steps up again and makes it a hatrick of quitting will he have as much quit losses as Victor Ortiz. Victor and all of the quitters in the world will be proud of him
When its all said and done Brook is a UK hypejob who's best win is a guy who lost to old ass brain dead Road Kill that is Julio Diaz. With 36 bums to his name. Whenever brook stepped up against guys his size he simply quit on his knees begging for mercy like a complete Biiitch and a Whore, a Coward. Maybe he has the undiscovered quit gene.
Discuss :boxing:
Kneeguel Cotto should be in a top 10 list of quitters
Getting caught trying to use plaster on your hand wraps is the most cowardly way to quit on yourself. He didn't believe in himself, he didn't believe in his own skills, power, etc..
Margarito quit on himself and the way he did was the worst possible way to do it.
Antonio Margarito is a coward quitter.
Brook shouldn't have to risk his sight to prove he's tough. No sporting event (yes, it's a sport afterall) is worth losing your vision over.
As for quitters:
Golata is the obvious one. Not only did he quit against Tyson he also quit against Holyfield in the second fight by purposely hitting low when he was ahead on scorecards.
Mcall in his second fight against Lewis - complete mental and emotional breakdown
He wasn't damaged much just humiliated so yeah he is a quitter the worst kind.
I a boxer's health is in jeopardy then yes if he has to quit he has to quit.
Wow your sig made me truly LOL. They both are ATG quitters no doubt after their last bouts. Brook had less than two rounds to go which is even worse than Ortiz's last bout with 8 to go. Brook had Not Even TWO ROUNDS LEFT!!!
But Quitters Gotta Quit. Brook is a D+ fighter at best this is his level he needs to know his place and stop being so deluded stop begging for paydays he doesn't deserve.
Remember what Brook said before the fight that his eyes were totally fine and he was mentally strong and in the best shape of his life. So by all means this a quit job if you just use logic.
Brook himself used the word "quit" the only logical argument by his supporters can be if quitting is the right way to go in boxing. In 90% of cases, it is not.
there is a huge difference between quitting if you think your future health is on the line vs quitting when things aren't going your way. I see a lot of brave keyboard warriors here who wouldn't want to wear a pirate costume for the rest of their lives either but have no problem **** talking on the forums.
Would you consider Nicholas Walters a quitter?

Those who said Golota, after that fight he was acting psycho, fainted and when he was taken to the hospital he had neurological damage along with a fractured bone in his spine because of the Tyson KO
I thought he quit too but he went through a lot afterward
Yeah I know but that has nothing to do with Kell Crook
You're a guy who gets ass so why are you red k'ing me when I ask you about advice on how to get women? You disabled visitor messages on your page pimp.
Yep, not only is he the worst active quitter but as a world level fighter as the lowest stock of any fighter. Disgraceful.

David Haye against Klitschko was a bit of a quit also.
No it was not, it was a chess match a tactical affair! Haye in every single round initiated attack, that was nullified by Wladimir Kiltschko's wrestling tactics! Technically Haye just did not have the arsenal to beat Kitschko that night.
Chavez Sr quit.
Twice.
You refer to the Oscar De Hoya fights?
I totally agree on that one.
Even though I thought the Meldrick Taylor stoppage was ridiculous and never liked Chavez Sr. I give him respect for all the fights he fought and how active of an figther he was.
Even though he is an legend, an ATG and I have respect for all of his fights.
I was really disappointed that Roberto Durran pulled that "No Mass"
Mike Alvarado also in the third Rios fight.
David Haye against Klitschko was a bit of a quit also.
And ofcourse Golota vs. Mike Tyson
whos alt are you
Shaolin Sword probably. He just got banned today and now someone named "Chinese Guy" with an account since Nov finally decided to make his third post.
