I like Lipinets and Indongo and would would rather see Mikey fight them but, to be honest, Broner is a harder fight than either of them. Yea, he's a fuk-up, but Broner is huge and let's not pretend he isn't dangerous. And, Broner makes far more sense for the promoters and fans. Gets Mikey's name out there more and sets up a bigger fight with Loma (hopefully).
Regarding going up to fight Crawford, I hope Mikey stays at 135 a little longer, so he can make a Loma fight first.
Mikey has said he will come down for the title fights at 135 again, they weren't available now so he made the choice to fight broker,an excellent choice,Broner is a big name.
The lomachenko - Garcia fight can still happen in the future, and i hope it does
That's Eleider Alvarez, who will hopefully be putting Pascal out of his misery this weekend. I'm not fully sold on him but I picked him to beat Bute and I think he may become next adopted star for Canada.
I mostly sig'd the pic because it just looked cool. He totally looks like Bond villain there. :lol1:
The fact that Stevenson is running his big mouth in the background is poetic as Alvarez is supposed to be his Mando and Stevenson has been ducking him.
for over 3+ years :lol1:
In my baked stupor i actually thought someone had photoshopped Chino maidana in blackface or some schit :lol1:
He really should be having no problems with pascal, who is beginning to sound like james toney ffs, shame he has to keep fighting, must have some bad $ prob's...

Alvarez/Stevenson was supposed to happen 3 years ago, Alvarez earned the title shot back in 2015 after Chilemba win. 3 years ago. 2015. That's a ****ing comedy right here
BTW who is the black lovechild of Tua and Maidana dude in your sig ? :lol1:

lomachenko, but that is honestly a fight that can and should be built. it's not like either guy is fighting garbage and using that fight to promote **** fights in the interim, the way floyd and manny did for so many years. they're fighting good fighters from what it's looking like for the next year. the fight will be there in '18, and god willing it will be big.
i don't think mikey can be a legit star, but he's mexican american, speaks great spanish and english, and he's got an amazing style for TV when he's paired with the right dance partner. that guy is absolutely lethal.
lomachenko is a tougher sell. ukranian might as well be russian to some people. speaks not a lot of english. he's tiny. but again, he's got a style that makes you go, "oh sh#t this guy can f#cking fight!!!!"
i just hope the boxing community respects what these guys are doing enough to buy their fights on PPV if it ever comes to that.
Ha ha, some mother****er in the other thread tried to argue that Loma/Garcia is a better fight than Garcia/Broner. Let's see what NSB thinks
If its better or not I think Garcia vs loma should be first unless loma fights Guillermo Rigondeaux.....
so no one thinks Loma will move up eventually somewhere along his career
You have to look at the context of the situation.
If 126 version of Loma moved up to 130 just for fight with a guy with 2 losses and no belt and at the same period of time Rigo said he's planning to move up to 126 to fight Loma, these critics wouldn't shut up about Loma ducking and etc.
I'm not saying Garcia is ducking or any of that though, I understand that Broner fight pays better
Hardcore Fan so Loma vs Garcia is better in the ring, HOWEVER Broner vs Garcia is BIGGER and likely a BIGGER Payday for Garcia because Broner is more known and a bigger Draw over Loma at the moment despite him losing every big fight he been in because of all the extra stuff he does outside of the ring people will watch him fight!
Robert Easter Jr. has a fight coming up against Shafikov on June 30th and Jorge Linares and Terry Flanagan want nothing to do with Garcia, :pat:.
Lomaputa on the other hand, if he really wanted it, could have easily stepped up to the plate to fight Garcia at 135 this summer.
Lomaputa's team wanted Salido's rematch even before Sosa fight and they were in talks a long time ago
Is there any proof that Linares ducked the fight with Garcia?
Yea, I don't even click on those nonsense "Salido is his daddy" threads. Some guys are just going to hate him because they feel he represents the "other side", and all that bullshyt. Loma and Salido are in two very different places in their careers now. Salido wouldn't even be competitive now, IMO.
One thing I love about Loma, beyond his talents, is that he seemed like he was going after the best comp. Fighting Sosa and Salido back to back goes against that whole thing.
I see Mikey beating Broner but I think that it's a way more competitive match than Loma/SalidoII. Broner is inconsistent but he's not shot.
BTW who is the black lovechild of Tua and Maidana dude in your sig ? :lol1:
I never said you did lol. Your the first post ive read that doesnt wanna see it (i dont either) every other post has claimed hes ducking salido. :lol1:

The thing is, just like Broner/Garcia, the rematch with Salido might be a good thing for the career, but we both know that Garcia and Loma got better options than Salido and Broner

I know Broner is a money fight, I know this is the fight for casuals. But I don't want that casual fight to kill the fight that hardcore fans wants to see - that's what my concern is about
And I can't blame Garcia if he wants the money and some spotlight with that Broner fight but for me, it makes Loma/Garcia less possible. It's good if he'll get back to 135, but most likely he won't
Broner has a solid chin, recovers fast and got size advantage. But I don't see Broner being a problem for Garcia or having the ability to outbox Mikey.
I'm a Loma fan, and I don't want to see him wasting his time with shot-ass Salido.

I never said anything of the sort so GTFO with that noise. I'm a Loma fan, and I don't want to see him wasting his time with shot-ass Salido. It's not even competitive at this point. His last fight was weak and this would be two weak fights in a row. He should go back to the momentum he had coming off the Martinez and Walters wins.

His last fight was a weak spectacle, because he was so many levels above, but he was hardly a weak opponent, that dude was a legit belt holder and a renowned tough philly fighter.
:lol1:
is that the narrative now? before it was ' too scared to rematch his father salido'
