None of us on this forum should be calling Brook a coward.
Except Vitali Klitschko. If he posts on here, he can call Brook whatever he wants.
British are cowards in general
I would retire. You think Brook is going too?
Don't think Brook will... He needs to secure his family with another big money fight ie Khan that's why he's been chasing him for years easy fight and big pay..I would,, you have to think 5-10 more big haye makers on that broken eye could mean he will be blind.
When you are getting YOUR EYE PULLED OUT OF YOUR SOCKET during surgery come back and tell me how much of a coward another man is. When you get beat and bloodied by a man with illegal bricks for hands tell me how much of a coward a man is.

Yes, the keyboard warriors are full of heart here huh?
Hell yes it was.
Cotto was getting beaten with bricks, Kell is a coward and damage goods
Errol broke another British hypejob
Brook barely took any punishment compared to cotto, so I agree
Whats your reason for not liking that excuse then if not cowardly?
Because I hate to call someone that gets hit in the face for a job a coward, I just didn't like the fact that he tried to deflect the reason why he quit. I would have more respect for him if he had come out and said I just couldn't carry on, I had nothing left etc but he is trying to point to the eye as the reason he quit.
Nothing cowardly in taking a knee, just don't lie like the reason you took the knee was because you can't see lol.

Meh, eye sight is for pussies.
Pleasing strangers on the internet who aren't even rooting for you is what it's all about.
The selfish bastard basically robbed us of 4 more minutes of action, and for what? His vision. Avoidance of his other eye being popped out via an operation?
That hype job, coward quitter was probably thinking about his family and kids, or the doctors words about how he could of been blinded the last time he suffered that injury. What a fool.
He could of gained Tony Bellew's respect. He could of had himself a terminator eye like Margarito and been called a warrior. What a bum.
So you agree he quit then?
No boxing fan is comparing themselves to the actual boxers. Obviously all boxers are gladiators and brave to take a risk to even get in the ring. However within that field, it's the biggest no no to take a knee and it's the worst thing any boxer can do in terms of their credibility is to quit in a fight.
Miguel Cotto was being slaughtered by hands padded with concrete throughout the whole fight and still continued to try and win, he didn't take the knee because he wanted to quit, he literally couldn't physically take the punishment of the concrete padded hands margarito was using.
Brook on the other hand had every chance to win the fight and was in control for a lot of the bout. Brook quit at the first time he felt the pressure from Spence and wanted no more. Brook took the easy quitters way out because he does not have the heart or the mind of a true fighter.
I had Brook up 4-1 after the first 5 rounds. It was all Spence from then on. Even the rounds where I had Brook winning, Spence's plan was clearly unfolding and those body shots took it's toll on Brook.
You say he quit the first time he felt pressure? He was being pressured from rounds 6 onwards, and even after the KD in round 10, he had his last momentous adrenaline come through and tried a final attack.
He could have quit after the KD, he could have quit before coming out for the 11th, but you could tell a lot of things had played in his mind before taking that knee.
Did he quit? Yes, or course he did. In my mind it was justified. He was a few punches away from losing permanent vision in one eye against GGG. That played a big part in his eventual decision to as you put it 'take the easy way out'.
Some 'fans/trolls' don't really care for a boxers well-being. I mean, how dare you not put your health at risk for us 'fans' who at most would just post their sympathetic messages on a message board if anything bad were to happen.
Just look at the likes of Watson, McLellan, or more recently Eduard Gutknecht, who fell to a coma after the Groves fight and is now unable to walk and barely speak and will have to be in care for the rest of his life.

I don't blame Brook for quitting, but I dont think it was just his eye. I think he was also mentally broken and exhausted. Cotto was too.
Come on it can't just be the eye for Brook. He was getting beat up to the body.
I really hope you people justifying quitting haven't got a girlfriend or children. I wouldn't trust you one bit to look after any member of my family.
Would you trust a guy with permanent brain damage to take care of your family?
Dont see how getting knocked out helps your children or girlfriend.
People saying he's a quitter have never been in a boxing ring with a broken eye socket. Don't be A** hole put yourself in brooks situation and ask yourself what you would do or risk being permanently blind and go on the fight to lose anywhere. IMO brooks situation was different to Cottos.
I would retire. You think Brook is going too?
