I think he still would have, he was building golden boy at the time of those fights and they were massive money generators. Also Oscar was always trying to challenge himself against the best.
This was one of the saddest cases of a fighter getting a raw decision in a big fight. I hate how he fought in the last three rounds but he won 7 of the first 9 rounds. Worst case it should have been a draw. He out landed him by 120 punches and that includes those pitiful 3 rounds at the end. He was boxing Tito's ears off when he chose to.
One judge gave 3 of the first 4 rounds to Tito; I'd have to go back and rewatch to remember the exact rounds Oscar won but I'm pretty sure after 4 it should have been 4-0 Oscar.
