This topic has come up before and we settled on 75 pts, but I wanted to see if I can get broader input. For reference, 30 pts is what you get for a totally correct pick w/o any multipliers.
Also - should be a draw be worth even more when there is a bonus multiplier in play?
Sure why not. You get very few multipliers, you'd have to get extremely lucky to correctly guess a draw when using a multiplier. Most likely you'd just blow your multiplier which is a pretty big waste.
Ok. So either way is feasible. I personally don't think I'd ever pick a draw so props to the guy that does.
I guess go with whatever way is the easiest for you.
That would be cool too. I think if you're gonna do one bonus based off odds you should do all bonus' based off odds. No multipliers though.
If you do 100 will multipliers be allowed?

Well for the bonus multipliers ive been taking the favorite and dividing by 4. Canelo was 9/1 so I gave 9/4 on Chavez. It doesn't pay as well as the casino but I figure it's enough to spruce things up.
Doing the same for a draw would probably be 150pts-ish on average.
Based on this thread so far I'm leaning towards making it 100.

Ok, so if that's the case, you should base it off the odds of a draw for that particular fight.
That would be insane.

Here's why I was rethinking the 75. I was offering a 2.25x bonus for picks on Chavez, which meant that a perfect pick for him would have been 67.5 pts if he won. It felt odd that a draw was only worth more than Chavez by a few pts.

I agree with you
75 is good. It's more than double a perfect pick. Then whatever multiplier they use. I wouldn't get too crazy with it.

Bob, we all know that it is the hardest result possible. it should be worth 100 in my opinion. Now also rare pick bonus should also take effect. Just my opinion, a lot of risk, should be a lot of reward
A clarification - I've gotten rid of 'rare' type bonuses all together and have replaced them with bonus multipliers that are based on the betting odds.
But yeah I've been thinking perhaps it should be worth a lot more than it is now

I see a draw picks as being more an "I can't decide" pick. More luck than insight. I say triple the regular "who will win" pick. It might be worth more in terms of odds, but do we really want to see someone jump to the top because of a lucky pick on a draw?
Anyway, just my perspective.
