CONOR MCGREGOR has no chance of beating Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match, according to Antonio Tarver. The reigning UFC lightweight champion has been pursuing a mega-money boxing match with the American for the last six months. Click Here To Read More]
Lol @ being delusional. Anytime Floyd fights again and becomes eligible, he's automatically the man again. It's not as if he's lost all his skills in a year and a half.
Serious question: Are you trolling me?
Did you read the post?
I'm not sure if you understand things differently than it's meant to mean.
Elaborate what part of my post was me being delusional.

You sound paranoid and crazy. I'm telling you, the Floyd hate got you tense.
Regardless of what's relevant or not, the truth is this is just an old retired boxer having fun for money. Floyd's last competitive fighter was Pacquiao and people have to face the fact that it will stay that way. He clearly has no desire to box seriously anymore. People shouldn't critique Mayweather vs McGregor so seriously as if it's a fight between two top 3 P4P boxers. Sure it's a former #1 P4P boxer vs a current #2 P4P UFC fighter, and the two top PPV sellers of their respective sports and they will promote it as such, but anyone who knows that this fight is just a joke fight for Floyd should just sit back and relax and don't watch it.
Floyd is no longer in the top 10 P4P or top 10 at 147 or 154, and it will stay that way.

The Rungvisai argument is completely irrelevant so I ignored it. He's had a maybe two or three fights of consequence and nobody cares. This a high profile fight for Floyd's 50'th fight. Apples and oranges.

I'm not justifying the fight, i'm not even going to buy it, honest to my mother. If the fight doesn't happen, it's no loss for me, I wouldn't care.
People shouldn't care too much about this fight. It's clearly a freak show, like Ali vs the Japanese wrestler Antonio Inoki. Just don't watch the fight, that's all. I'm not going to. But when I see people complaining about the fight for the wrong reasons, i'm going to call them out on it.
What Mayweather vs McGregor seems to bring out is just tense behavior of people who don't like him. It's very simple, just don't watch the fight. There's plenty of other things for you to do than watch or talk about this fight so seriously. We all know it's not a competitive fight, but it amusing to see anti-Floyd fans speak of it so seriously, reminding people that this isn't a fair fight, as if people don't know lol.
What I said of Rungvisai's 13 debuting/retiring opponents is very true, yet you did not address that. But I don't care to argue about this. It's just amusing to see people so mad at a retired fighter having some fun for money.

Okay and? You were somehow justifying it. Mcgregor as not proven to be capable of beating a single capable welterweight, much less and all time great.
The fight is pointless other than to make money off a scam and should be considered as such.

If you read (or carefully re-read) my post, you'd see that's not the case. The topic of my post isn't even remotely close to talking about how competitive this fight will be.

Mayweather has already shamed boxing by entertaining the possibility of making this fight. If he actually does make the fight, he will have disgraced the sport.
He's an mma guy with no boxing experience. It's a cash grab farce for both and that's just how I'll classify it. If you think it will be anything other than a boxing lesson with Connor landing jack sh@t , you're mistaken.

I don't really care about this fight, but in the case of your post, this fight not being a real 50th win then you have to treat all other pro boxers the same.
Rungvisai has 13 fights against debuting opponents, who btw never fought again, so they are 0-1-0. Including 3 in a row as recent as 2016.

Because McGregor will be debuting and maybe not box again, making him 0-1-0, I understand people not seeing this as a legitimate win, I won't either. I'm just throwing it out there, that a current top 3 JBW fighter has 13 fights against debuting opponents who retired right after. Meaning of course that they were picked up off the streets, paid a little check to get in there with Rungvisai, get KTFO, and never to be seen again. Job done.
Same sh*t happening here, only that it's a star from another combat sport who has legitimacy in his respective combat sport and is the most popular fighter in his sport.
I'm just saying, let's also eliminate 13 wins off Rungvisai's record.

agree 100% this is a S H I T fight only reason Mayweather wants it its because he cannot make a hundred million dollar payday with any boxer with out risking getting beat (meaning he could get 100 mill fighting Pacman again canelo or ggg) Pretty much this right here. It's a joke of a fight and I hate both fighters for wanting it, McGregor wants the payday too it's a disgrace.
Umm he practically already beat Diaz in a boxing match. He knocked him down like 5 times and made Diaz lie on the ground like a ***** trying to beckon Conor to come down.
Another dumb boxer.
if you watch the fight, the big shots conor landed were because he was putting in the work brutalizing Nates legs with leg kicks, that left diaz off balance. go back to the first fight where Conor was wobbled and almost dropped with straight boxing, which led conor to turn into a desperate wrestler.
I know the hardcore boxing heads on here give MMA a tough time but Tarver isnt necessarily wrong. Conor was winning a kickboxing fight in the second fight but not a straight boxing match.

So is Tarver officially done as a fighter? That idea of fighting for a world title at HW gone, or is he thinking he can beat Briggs or Oquendo? We could change the WBA regular belt to the "old-timers" belt and have Tarver fight an eliminator against Adamek. Otherwise Tarver just gonna keep on taking those child support KOs
I agree. To me is not a real 50th win for Floyd. I will not be buying the PPV this time.
