He started his path back. I think it's going to be a long one, but that he will do it.
What do you think how long till he comes back?
I think we won't see Joshua-Fury for at least another 2 years. Joshua will be in his prime and I expect he will already beat Parker and Wilder.
Fury is done,he was never anything special and will comeback a shell of that
If he was in any other division than heavyweight, I'd agree. If he commits himself, he can get back in the mix...if he doesn't have it in him anymore, he should just retire tho.
October 2017 a fight will be announced. People who have watched his previous fights and followed his career know that losing weight to Fury is not as hard as people make out. God willing, Fury will be back to reclaim his belts from these so-called fake champions.
I'd imagine the target on all sides is for the Joshua fight is Wembley next summer.
Fury could possibly have an easy tune up later in the year, another one early in 2018 against someone decent and then fight Joshua in the summer. He could easily to two tune ups, maybe even more than 2 if he wants some easy fights regularly. The best thing for Fury to do once he's ready to fight is stay active, even if they're just easy fights to start with, at least it keeps him in camp.
We'll see him back in the ring in the next 6 months.
He won't be in top shape for at least another 12-18. If he ever gets back there at all.
We're going to see 2 cans before we see a mega fight.
Absolute rubbish
Tyson fury ran rings around chisora and klistcho. AJ has fought 18 bum city mandems and went life and deaf with Klitscho
Tyson wud murfer aj and wilder
He got better reach better chin and more naturally fit and better technique
Piss off dummy lol. http://i1265.photobucket.com/albums/jj501/willo2012/Untitled3-1.gif
An obese failure
He'll fight this year 100%. Fury has put lots of weight on before and he shifts it pretty quickly. I don't know who he'll fight but he has the perfect motivation now to get back in the ring. One maybe two warm up fights and this time next year the big one with AJ.
October 2017 ? Get off the crack ffs and will be a year at least before he has any idea of facing joshua...i have serious doubts that he will make it back at all and could quite easily blow a fuse on his way to it.....let's hope he do make it back because i wanna see joshua send that overweight pikey to uncontious land .....fury is finished

Tyson has already shifted about 20 pounds
All you armchairs sat at home but never been on the bags
Truth is he already well on the way. He's the most talented boxer in the division and all this talk of getting in fighting shape is redundant. Once he's the right weight then he's ready to murder that little child Aj
I call it for October 2017

It doesn't have to be AJ, it can be anyone. What I'm saying is that he was the man a year ago and now he sees someone else in his spotlight as the world HW champ and the boxer that Britain is fixated on. I think that is a big motivator for him. He feels like he beat Wlad with no scares, why should be let someone who just struggled with the same opponent steal his spotlight.
Quite frankly he never got the spotlight.
In the UK, his fame lasted for the 3 whole days, then the media started making different stories (not saying that Tyson wasn't partially guilty for those). For the rest of the world, either Wlad had an off night (like Wlad himself claimed) or Wlad was too old and past it. It was the case how much Wlad slowed down, not how good Fury was. Only a very few boxing hardcores gave him a proper credit.
Although AJ went life and death with Wlad, he will get much more credit as Wlad looked more determined, fight was excellent and he stopped him.
I don't think it's primarily AJ, I think it's more him figuring out that he is a loser without boxing.
I think he is a kind of guy who fuels on people writing him off. He will never be AJ and IMO he doesn't want to be.
He ballooned in a very short period, so that gives me a hope he can come back.

I think that's asking for a trouble. He is huge... Even when he loses 3-4 stones. He can get seriously injured - not by an opponent, but by just fighting in that shape.
Eh, we've seen plenty of fat guys in the heavyweight division over the past decade or so. I think with an eight to ten week training camp he should be able to complete an eight round fight against a journeyman. And then hopefully use that as a launchpad to get back into proper shape like he was in before the lay-off
I said he was done but I think seeing AJ get worshiped as a god in the UK is going to get to him. I think he's going to be back this winter. The body starts to change in the late 20's and if you stay fit, you get get through it but he put himself through hell and I think he's going to find himself not able to get back to exactly where he was, pre-obesity. Cocaine use for months on end can fk up your heart a bit too.
So, I'm taking back what I said, I do think he's going to come back and I think it'll be fueled by jealousy of AJ stealing the spotlight.

I see your point, but TBH I am not interested in AJ-Fury if Fury is not 100%. I want to see how AJ deals with Fury that fought Wlad. Making the fight just on a hype is not good for boxing IMO.
I get your point. I too want him to be at his best. I don't think Fury needs to prove himself in the ring. He did that beating wlad and, as i said, IMO he has a fair claim to the HWT championship.
I just don't know if he is stable enough in his recovery. The last shenanigans were very problematic.

Tyson is the guy that beat the guy 1st. He has a legit claim to being the HWT champ. IMO he appears unstable and you dont want to kill the fight by him losing.
Maybe before the end of the year put him in with a very easy fight to get him back and build interest. you have to be careful because he could mess things up given how unstable he appears.
