He was born into it, he inherited a stable of boxers from his dad and naturally progressed into it as a career fairly young. He's your typical rich spoilt ****.
He didnt inherit a boxing stable of any sort.
His Dad had let go of anything to do with boxing long before Eddie started the matchroom stable back up again. They oversaw events management of prizefighter on sky and that was it, they had no "stable".
He was responsible for the Golf, Darts and online poker stuff matchroom did before he started them going back into boxing.
The first fighters he took were Warren cast-offs, those who had legal disputes with him and relative unknowns that werent really going anywhere and thats after he managed Fraudley for the Haye fight.
As far as business-men go, Eddie did a huge amoutn for matchroom with their other interests before boxing, it wasnt just Daddy Barry giving him everything.
Best promoter in the game, willing to put his fighters to the test - He sees the reward in the end. It's a new age of promotion, with Eddie leading the pack.

Absolutely, I still thought he was in his 40's. He's had the easy route but has done very well so far even with that leg up.
