It's not really fair to compare seeing a fight live to those you see on YouTube or whatever when you already know the result. My personal three favourites so far are:
1. AJ v Klitchsko
2. Lebedev v Gassiev
3. Whyte v Chisora
Maybe not the best fights I've seen in terms of technique etc, but they were the best to watch for me, over quite a limited time span as might be apparent lol
Povetkin - Takam
Arturo Gatti - Micky Ward (all fights)
Arturo Gatti - Ivan Robinson (first fight)
David Tua - Ike Ibeabuchi
Shawn Porter - Keith Thurman
Arthur Abraham - Edison Miranda (first fight)
Barrera - Morales (series)
The worst fight I've ever watched is Sultan Ibragimov - Wladimir Klitschko
Man, I am so jealous. That is my favourite fight ever and the one I would have most liked to have been at.
My own personal favourite was Chocolatito Gonzalez vs Sor Rungvisai at MSG. Honestly, that was an unbelievable fight.
I've never been to a fight since. To make it even more ridiculous my friend refused to pay 400 to 600 for great seats and didn't want nose bleeds so we walked away only to have this guy approach us and ask us if we wanted tickets. Pure luck. But consider this,,, to many it was just another alphabet title fight. NOBODY expected that epic classic to take place with that memorable round ten. " You better f@@kin get inside him now." I actually chatted with Joe Goosen the previous morning at Mandalay breakfast buffet.
I was at Coralles Castillo 1. No lie. I was in Vegas to meet a local for our 2nd date. We also set up her friend to meet my friend. They both backed out. So my bud and I were lucky enough to get 2 $400 seats for $100. It was right before the main event and some guy didn't want to go to the fight so he sold them to us. He could care less. Little did we know what we were about to see. When they introduced celebrities Floyd was kinda unknown and James Toney got the biggest applause. Then the war began.
