Where nothing going on in the sport excites you? I go into that mode from time to time and take a month break or so.
However, when I do get back on track I'll watch every fight i can possibly get my hands on and get all geeked up about up coming events. Even if they aren't all that exciting on paper.
Have you ever felt this way? What do you do to get over the "Boxing Blues"?
jajajajajajajajajaja jsut wen yuo thikn you seen all teh gargoyles jajajajajaja are yo a hibbster
Is that English? I recognize a couple words but it doesn't really make sense~
After Mayweather beat Pac, I got that way for a year it seemed, the fight itself was such a letdown. Boxing's been pretty good this past year though, so it's all good.
I used to be into hardcore. I trained for a few years, did some amateur fights, watched every fight new and old I could. At a certain point I got into other interests and I consider myself as a bit of a casual now.
I get into some of the more interesting matches, but I got too many other things going on to care much about the bush league stuff. Look forward to the Wlad fight though.
Yea. But I want to see what's gonna happen with the younger Loma, Mikey, Joshua, Canelo, Thurman, Crawford so I stick around. While still having interest in the older Ward, Kovalev, Rigondeaux, etc. And the inbetweeners like DSG, DeGale.
Floyd Mayweather type boxing out? If so then I feel sorry for her... not much action.

Been watching boxing for too long to get really too excited or too down. I enjoy watching fights, but if you want specific things boxing just doesn't work like that so I just take what I get and enjoy the ebbs and flows of guys careers because guys are always rising or falling.
It is not about being casual because someone can be hardcore and still feel that way. It is just you are more of a rookie, once you get past anything like these feelings are when you are a true boxing vet.
There ain't enough boxing on to lose interest like that, casuals will casual.
Maybe for you but I watch cards from Japan, Thailand, Mexico, Argentina at times, plus all the small cards throughout the week and the main Sho and HBO cards. Yeah, there is more than enough boxing going on.
I suppose you're right, casuals will casual.
Well, Keith is from my hometown so yea, I was excited for it. The fight itself wasn't all that exciting but I was excited for it.
Ahhh I see. No doubt.
i actually boxed out this chicks box the other night

Really? Thurman vs Garcia was alright to me. The WW division isn't all that prestige for me. Idk, I guess I'm weird.
A villain is always good. Kovalev plays the part rather well. But yeah, I get what you mean.

I am box'ed out right now and been so for a few months. Only fight that really got me excited was Keith vs Garcia.

I dont get boxed out but its gets dull with all these fighters having no damn personality. I need animosity, I need hate, I need shit talking, I NEED DISRESPECT to kick off a bout.
