If he's only doing it at the weigh-ins, then it's just a psychological thing, to make the opponent doubt himself the night before the fight. Not much different than acting aggressive. Same purpose. Since when is that a complex? If he was always doing it, you'd have a point. The more interesting thing is AJ's constant headphone wearing. I've always thought he seemed like a nervous guy but seeing that he can't get near Wlad without wearing headphones makes me wonder even more. i was wondering about this yesterday, apparently he has a deal with that brand of headphones, that's why he is always wearing them.

If you check this video, at 26.44, you see Fury clearly say "look how small you are" and gestures that he is smaller than at the weigh in and says "no heels on" haha.

The simple explanation is that he wore trainers at the weigh in while Fury and Joshua were in socks. That's hardly out of the blue, doesn't take as much effort as wearing a batman costume.
