WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO says Anthony Joshua will crumble under the expectation of a nation. The Ukrainian is in the unfamiliar role of challenger after his nine and a half year reign as IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO world heavyweight champion was ended by a shock points loss to Tyson Fury in November 2015. I think Klitschko is confident. Nervous, maybe. But I think he genuinely believes he's going to win.
To be fair he has some things on his side; such as the unknown of how AJ will handle by far the biggest event of his career, by far the best opponent of his career, and I think the respectful build-up has worked in Klitschko's favour too. I don't think he is comfortable with trash talk or when the opponent 'gets in his face' - see Haye, Fury & Chisora (wasn't even fighting him!). I think Fury totally confused him with both his bizarre personality first & then his unusual style in the ring. No chance of AJ winning any mind games here, doesn't seem to be his style. I see this as close to a 50/50 fight. WK is being written off too easily IMO.
Having said the above & my belief Klitschko that is a very live dog, my prediction was and remains an AJ KO win, but I'm far from certain. Massively looking forward to being there! :boxing:
Lol Klitschko is AJ'S best opponent by far? You obviously never heard of Kevin Johnson! That's Joshua's best win on his resume!!
Getting the impression Wald's just ready for his huge retirement check and gold plated watch for 20 years of service. Kinda tough to feel sorry for someone who is that wealthy. But really, he's had stacks of high moments with very few setbacks, and will keep having them after the boxing career, so he'll do fine no matter the outcome of this fight.
Wlad is doing more talking than ever before. This either means he is supremely confident or he is nervous and wants to psyche AJ out, problem is, AJ is not a mental midget.

why is klitschko so much talkin like he never did before? not a good sign for me. does he wants to become a second t. fury? not a good sign for me anyway...
Yeah, it sounds like he's nervous. Truth be told is that they both will be nervous. This is a huge event.
In this article it almost sounds like Klitschko is trying to talk himself up that he can do it.
I think he's also going to try mind games with Joshua. That's also what he's probably doing. But I know he's nervous as hell too, Lol.
Well, Fight Week is here guys. It's going to be GOOD!
