Wow I had no idea that Top Rank signed Gaibnazarov. He won gold medal in the Rio last summer.
Can somebody explain why Shakur Stevenson is fighting on the Top Rank card? Is he signed with TR too?
****Rod Salka also makes his return today as the co-main event on a card in Pennsylvania. His opponent: TBA.
Gaibnazarov isn't impressive at all, he arguably lost his final against Sotomayor and also against Russell who was lucky himself to reach the quarters because he arguably lost against Hitchins and the thai.
64kg was a really good category before the Olympics and ended as the most disappointing weight class.
Gaibnazarov wasn't even the most impressive uzbek, Dusmatov, Zoirov and Melekuziev were real talents and no one signed them.
I think Yeleusinov's pro career will be going nowhere, considering the promotions he signed with. It's sad because the kid got almost lomachenko-esque type of skills
If he was american amateur, all promoters would be standing in line to sign him
I remember when Salka was only a TBA... Man, time flies..
After he took Danny to school his stock really went through the roof.
Serious note he had a fight with Meza Clay sometime last year- great fight lol not kidding at all.
Sorry guys, looked like I may have jumped the gun. His opponent pulled out on Thursday. He's scheduled to fight TBA, will somebody accept the challenge to fight Lightning Salka for peanuts? Its risky af, a potential opponent on such short notice would really have nothing to gain

I've heard from some people that Fazliddin was given the gift at Olympics. I don't know if it's true or not. Anyway, he's one of the most promising prospects from the Eastern bloc. Alexander Besputin is on the card too, another skilled Russian, good combinations, solid speed, footwork and reflexes, but he might be chinny
I thought j prince was his manager..
He's gonna have his hand in Shakur's pockets too?
