ANTHONY JOSHUA labelled Tyson Fury a "fat a**" as the pair exchanged insults on Twitter. Former heavyweight champion Fury claimed Joshua is "just a poor man's Frank Bruno" as he posted a picture of the ex-WBC title holder on his social media account. Click Here To Read More]
Yes, but even when Tyson fought tomato cans he was still fun to watch. Wlad Klitschko has been boring as an eternal clinch in every circumstance after he was destroyed by Corrie Sanders and Lamon Brewster. Namely, when he was still trying to FIGHT. At least, Vitali was more awkward and one could get a measure of fun sometimes, but hey...
Let's put it this way: had Ike Ibeabuchi not been jailed, he would have made mincemeat of both Klitschkos.
This is true. Ike Ibeabuchi went 12 hard full rounds in a Slugfest with David Tua who was a devastating puncher. Yeah, I agree. Ike would've probably been the one if he wasn't jailed.
For me and I know pretty much almost all people in America, I never warmed to the Klitschko's. Not exciting, not appealing as you say. People here were not interested in them. Thus no PPV fights here in America, Lennox Lewis was the last to be on PPV here regularly.
I like the new crop of Heavyweights. Joshua, Wilder, Parker, Ortiz, Big Baby Miller, etc....
I'm hoping these guys can bring the Heavyweights back to respectability. Even though I still don't rate them with the 90's era of Holyfield, Lewis and Tyson. At least there's competition now. Where with the Klitschko's competition never existed because the Heavyweight division was in it's worst state in history. Void of depth, talent and competition.
Fury is the champ who didn't want to fight anymore. He is the one who needs redemption. AJ has done nothing wrong. In a war of words Fury is at a huge disadvantage. I can't think of any young boxing world champion who did what Fury did. It was strange and made him look bad.
Maybe because the heavyweight title was in such a terrible state.....but he did fight some pretty obscure heavyweights...in fact some of them were appalling. ...Haye,povetkin,pulev over a 10 year period....give me a break son
No, I get it hasn't been a fantastic era. But who can you fight other than the best around. I mean, right now things are abit more exciting, but outside of Josh, Fury and Parker who is there? Ortiz is old and looking shot. Wilder has terrible balance and has fought no one. It's not changed that much.
Funny stuff from AJ. That fat **** slob can't talk right now. Lose 200 lbs, get off the blow and stop getting into goofy fake **** with Diamond Boy and then you can say something
The Klitschko's I have to say probably have fought in the worst era of Heavyweight boxing as far as the lack of talent, depth and competition in the Heavyweight division. There was nobody there.
Lewis, Holyfield and Tyson had each other.
Ali, Frazier and Foreman had each other.
The Klitschko's had/have nobody.

I don't think many called him "great". He was entertaining in what was a boring snooze-fest of a division of turds.
With "entertaining" you mean his out-of-the-ring antics? Most of Fury's fights are unwatchable.

Until fury is back in the ring I don't want to hear anything from him. He's an embarrassment to himself and the sport.
Fair enough he beat klitchko but it was a shambolic performance from both men. He prettty much won by default because he was less **** on the night.
Styles make fights and Joshua is all wrong for fury. Aj isn't gunshy like wlad those pitty patty punches and fake Ali shuffles won't be enough to deter aj. He will have a tougher assignment against Wladmir in two weeks.
Finally someone making sense. When I saw Steve Cunningham drop Fury with one shot I knew he was ****. That championship fight was just plain terrible.
Amazing how Fury is considered a great fighter just because he slapped around Klitschko's corpse for 12 rounds. I was so sure about Klitschko losing that fight that I bet on Fury at 5:1. Many people just do not realize that Klitschko feasted over a bunch of nobodies for years. It's over now - for him and for Fury. Joshua will knock Wladimir out, whereas I don't see him fighting Fury in the next future. After drugs, depression and growing fat there is no way back for a fighter.

You can say Klitchko didn't duck anybody but why would he when the division had no competition to offer anyway?
Nice one from Joshua to that disgrace, Cocaine smoking idiot. Use to back Fury and his antics but he is a joke. I thought Haye was going to resurrect the HW but he was a joke, then I thought Fury was going to be the one but after winning he was doing drug. Can't back someone like that. And I don't want to hear "It was only coke" from any idiot around here too.
I don't think anyone considers Fury a great fighter. He's just the best heavyweight in the world on proven form. When you say Wlad feasted on nobodies, remind me who he ducked again. The likes of Haye, Povetkin, Pulev ect were the best challengers on offer at that time.

Your gonna like it here fella....loads of pikeys and clueless posters lol ...your get to know them pretty quick.
Yeah your right klitchcko feasted on mostly tomatoe cans all through his reign and never faced anybody with the attributes that joshua has....jeez klitchco was even knocked out by lesser fighters than joshua.

Fury is a brainless redneck and a disgrace for our sport.Hope this idiot stays retired nobody misses him exept his greedy promoter Warren.
Warren never promoted Fury. Mick Hennessy did
