i think that relationship will have a good future. I mean that date was incredible! Good small chat and enough eye contact. So do you guys think they had sex on the first date? if not i think the kiss will happen after the second date.
Could Joshua having so much respect for Wlad be a problem at all in the fight? Could he start feeling intimidated if Wlad starts well? I'm kinda on the fence about that.
It was maybe a little dull compared to past shows, but it was what you would expect. Wlad is a respectful guy and Joshua has looked up to Wlad, so there was never going to be any digs in this one.
I quite liked it to be honest, i thought the mutual respect was a nice change from the likes of Chisora throwing glasses at Whyte, and Haye and Bellew with scripted insults.
Cheers for posting :ANYWORD:
Out of curiosity, can you elaborate on this?
It means he can take care of himself in the street and he is pretty game and don't back down....i inow he has calmed down alot since his early amatuer days thats for sure
Joshua likes to think that he's some kind of boxing philosopher, whereas in reality he just talks ****.
Get back in your cage denium...it's not feeding time yet
Joshua Respects him so much, He called Wlad a top 5 all time heavyweight which to me is a push. Does anyone have Wlad in there top 10 let alone top 5? It can only be for longevity.
All time heavyweights I have above him include Muhammad Ali, Joe Louis, Larry Holmes, George Foreman, Lennox Lewis, Joe Frazier, Jack Johnson, Mike Tyson, Jack Dempsey, Evander Holyfield, Rocky Marciano, Vitali Klitscko and possibly Sonny Liston.
^That might be it. At first, I liked that he seemed soft-spoken and humble, but I'm getting the impression that he's just devoid of personality. And, all this talk of how intelligent he is, a calm demeanor + cliches does not = intelligence.
Not that he's stupid or that I have anything against AJ, I just can't find a lot to like. He seems like an empty shell. I'll give him some time.
Also, WTF is up with all the "we'll find out" in this video?? You guys can't tell each other, "I'm going to beat you."?? :sad2:da fuq is wrong with you? does every boxer have to be an obnoxious loud mouth assh0le for you to like them? go watch the wwe little man.
Ive met joshua a few times when i was sparring at finchley in 2012.....so i also know him and he can be a handfull but hes nowhere near the guy he was when he was starting his pro career...most fighters have a dark side there boxers ffs and need that edge to them to succeed.....manufactured i am not sure about that as i wouod put it more like remodelled user friendly....nice guys come last in boxing ray you should know that

I understand where you coming from, I have nothing against him and like I said he has matured a lot. My brother still goes to his house and chill with his sisters, HW needs someone like him to wake it up but even when he KO'ed Whyte, his PR team were trying to tell him not to celebrate, which he replied to "phuck it I don't give a phuck " anyways am rooting for him either way.
They have done an incredible job of marketing this fight considering Wlad already lost to Fury.
Had Wlad had beaten Fury and still been champ, then i'd fully agree this would be a HUGE fight. I mean, it is a huge fight in terms of numbers but in boxing terms, i'm not sure it's anywhere close to being significant as they're making it out to be because Wlad is coming off a loss and an 18 month lay off.
It's an odd one really, in some ways both fighters might not get enough credit for winning. If Wlad wins, people might say he beat a guy who hadn't fought anyone good. If AJ wins, people will say Wlad was old, inactive and had been beating by Fury. In a way, Fury is the one who might get their legacy enhanced the most out of this fight if Wlad were to win.
I hope for a good fight and will give credit to the winner anyway. It will be a huge event and a spectacle but as i say, not sure it's quite as significant a fight as they're making out but it's about business and they've smashed that side of it.
Am closer to Joshua than you so yeah I know what am talking about, but definitely he has matured, but his personal is manufactured.

Do you know what your talking about...i was a tearaway and a bit of jack the lad when i was younger...fighting , geting in to trouble....the weekend was either blood on my new shirt (not mine) or in bed with another girl....going by your judgements everybody will stay the same as they were and if there a tearaway when there younger there be a tearaway when the they get old....what bollocks ...take example dillian whyte...still causing trouble where ever he go's whether its with chisora, bellew,Bryant Jennings and looks for confrontation where ever he go's...joshua has matured

You don't think winning the olympics and becoming a role model changes a man?
Yes joshua used to be a street thug but he's risen above that and he understands kids look up to him so hold himself to a higher standard now.
He's gone from boy to man. unlike many others who just don't know when to grow up.
Nothing "fake" about it
I know AJ and he has certainly changed a lot since his late teens, early 20s but and i'm sure he would be honest about this himself away from the cameras, he is no mamas boy. Far from it...very far from it.
What you see on camera is different from what I know in real life but hey, if that's theway the british public will get behind a star and not turn on them like in the past, then I'm ok with that.
