Am sure Kovacrybaby was saving the knock out for the rematch lol.....If anything Ward would now be more adjusted to the weight and more comfortable on being able to neutralized Kovacrybaby's power. But, why would we be shook when you guys were calling Ward a coward who would duck the rematch? We can vet again my friend. Here watch 48:00- 48:15 of this video, those are the two most effective jabs of the fight. You're right Ward landed clean head snapping jabs. That's known as clean effective punching and those are scoring blows. Kovalev's jabs didn't have the safe effect on Ward's head.

The fight could as well have been a draw, it was very close. But there was nothing controversial about Ward winning, he deserved it. Next time, Kovalev won't score any lucky knockdowns. Ward knows what it feels like to be in the ring with Kovalev now and Ward is a smart fight. He will adept. Next time, Kovalev will get completely clowned. I had it 6-6 and kd for Kova. I think Ward wins the rematch a lot easier.

i don't need to watch a highlight, I'm watching the entire fight right now, i'm on round 10 and I have ward up. even if kovalev landed 1 or 2 single jabs harder than ward, ward outjabbed him maybe 5 to 1 or more. I'm not blind, I know what i'm seeing, it's right in front of me, so when you tell me i'm wrong, I have to wonder what exactly you're seeing. Watch the fight again. Dude, you're here claiming that Ward landed harder shots than Kovalev and he outjabbed him 5-1 despite 55-48 jab count. Please stop, this is downright embarassing.

No way dude, Ward's Jab was landing harder than kovalev's, you need to rewatch the fight again. No offense, but a statement like this isn't even worth arguing with, it's that wrong. Ward is an accurate puncher, but he has always been featherfisted, even at 168. Part of that is because he's defense first and doesn't put all his weight into majority of his punches. Claiming that his jabs were landing harder than Kovalev is so laughable sh1t's not even funny. And as I said before, they landed a similar amount of jabs. Neither fighter's jab was the weapon of the night. At 0:25 Kovalev wobbles Ward with a jab: Ward made great adjustments in 2nd half and Kovalev gassed badly, let's not invent some ridiculous narrative where Ward was the harder puncher.

I'm watching the fight right now and so far the biggest weapon of the night is Ward's Jab.Kovalev's jab dominated the first 4 rounds, and they both landed a similar amount of jabs in the fight (48 vs 55). Considering Ward is a light puncher, as is his jab, there's absolutely no way you can say it was the biggest weapon of the night.

Lot of emotion and anger from these kovalev fanboys huh lol That usually happens when you have a weak standpoint. I'm rewatching the fight right now and i'm gonna make a thread where I challenge kovalev fans to tell me which rounds they thought kovalev won and i'll pinpoint every single punch landed in that round. In a close fight fans are always going to support the fighter they picked to win. It's the same in any sport that has subjective judging. In this case Kovalev came out ahead. The world isn't going to end. Then again there's that whole Trump as President thing and that guy in North Korea with nukes.

"Looking scared" and running literally has no impact on scoring a round, if you think that, then maybe that's your error. The only criteria needed is the quantity of punches landed and the quality and effectiveness of those punches. That's what we score in a fight. Oh ok...so Kovalev landed more punches and the more damaging puches, i.e. his punches were mroe effective (thus the knock down and the quite apparent facial damage to Ward). By your own criteria (I didn't put any words in your mouth) KOvalev won the fight.

Kovalev won and there is nothing anyone can say that will change the mind of all of us who watch the sport objectively. I didn't care who was going to win the first fight as long as it was a good fight, but when one guy fights and the other guy just comes in rushing like a bull trying to get you with his horns, man, Ward lost me that night. And again, what hurts is that all of you saying Ward won, don't dare sit down , turning the volume off and watching the fight without being hurt again. Dude, we got eyes, we participate in this sport ourselves and we understand how the scoring works. Pack your journalists and compubox or whatever away, we all saw the fight and we saw what happened. Kovalev do not have the neccessary skills to beat Ward, he just scored a lucky flash knockdown last time.
