Well, understanding the financial aspects can give you a clearer understanding of why certain fights aren't getting made and who is really to blame. If a guy is turning down 3 times his biggest career payday then you have to question his fighting spirit and how badly he really wants it.

let's be honest. No matter whose numbers we choose to believe the ggg-jacobs ppv didn't sell well. Certainly not enough to give ggg any leverage over canelo when it comes to negotiating the financials. exactly..the numbers were horrible...good card..horrible numbers tho

Basically when he was first being used was by some GGG fans trying to expose GBP fighters and some of Floyd's fights. That all went downhill when Glaser came out with GGG's numbers for Lemiuex, he was no longer viewed as credible. But when he first started he was seen as the be all of PPV source. GGG fans would worship him until he unintentionally went against them. 100 percent truth..all the sh1t they did have came back to bite them in the ass..thats why they say "LET A FOOL BE A FOOL"

Canelo offered him 15 mill and lil g turned it down because he thinks he's the a-side. This fight should've happened and would've happened if lil g didn't duck. Cool story. The sad thing is, people are so gullible, they'll believe any piece of "news". Who needs sources when you've got narratives instead? Every scrub in the industry is getting information from his mailman's dog's vet who is twice removed from a guy who cleans the floors down the road from one of the promoter's offsite locations. Or being hand-fed the information from a camp's PR firm.

Glasser strikes me as a guy that just wants attention. If those are the real numbers, what exactly does he get out of revealing them? Iirc, didn't he threaten to reveal the numbers if they didn't release them or something?

It's not even a fight between Salka or Garcia, it's a mandated fight between the #1 and #2 in the division, and it turned out to be what normal fans expected. It was a close competitive fight. So the idea of a low number is to use it in forum arguments that the guy they hate so much doesn't deseve to get paid well. What a stupid sport full of fanatical phonies. Preach! Just because you and like 2 other GGG supporters are good posters, out of about 100 GGG fans on this forum, and don't care about PPV's doesn't mean i'm gonna put the whole Glaser thing under the rug. Look at the this 2014 Glaser/Mayweather-Maidana thread. The usual suspects are in there.
