How is that sucking anyone of idiot. You got exposed for being a idiot and a shtthead so you resort to saying idiotic things
Says the guy who says Floyd had the hardest upbringing in boxing... The irony lol
Well... city mouse country mouse. Even in poverty, even with pockets of areas in Baltimore with worse poverty than parts of rural Africa...generally speaking kids who grow up in floyd's generation and before, in urban, suburban areas have a pretty good standard of living...provided they avoid violence in the hood. That means mothers get nutrition with preborns, that means food stamps, that means other social services like a roof over one's head.
By comparison if one takes a fighter from this country from an older generation, from a rural area, like liston, a sharecropper's son... we have real poverty. A father who beat Liston, no food to speak of (yeah farmers all have food cause they grow it right? WRONG), no social entitlements to speak of, and no education... Liston was not illiterate by choice, or cause he was lazy (Floyd had choices) he was illiterate because he had to work to eat.
Toney another "gangster" lol. Listen I love Toney as a fighter, and I admire Floyd's talents, but Hector Camacho was in East Harlem here and like Floyd he got school lunch, a project apartment, etc! Its not comparable.
However there is great danger because when people don't have to hustle to eat, they hustle for other reasons and life becomes cheap. In this fundamental respect, guys like danny Garcia and Floyd did have it rough.
Hes close to detroit lol. So what? Hollywood is close to some hard places.. doesnt make it hard
.. He had it rough? Maybe... But the roughest.. F#ck no... Ur funny man...
If u want to s#ck on Floyd.. u could just say he was the best of this generation, wich he was... But to say he had the roughest upbringing is a total joke.
Just stop..

He's from close to Detroit that's no joke. It's not the same as your suburban upbringing

Lol come on man... Theres 100s of fighter who has it harder. Please... Was cool to know abt his upbringing but to to say he had it the hardest is just dumb...

Floyd needs to travel to some third world countries to see what real poverty looks like. Check out the PI, Southeast Asia, Africa, South America...then come back and talk about how poor you were.
Perhaps he never heard of the fighters who pioneered this sport, who came up during the Great Depression, or battled their way off gritty drug infested streets, in and out of foster care, homeless, prison, etc. Where does he think fighters like Duran, Pacquiao, Tyson, Liston, Dempsey, Qawi, LaMotta, and countless others come from?
Most of Floyd's troubles were brought upon by himself. He is a punk and a wanna-be gangster, and he's been coddled by this sport since his debut.
Remember HBO when they said they'll be talking to his uncle on how he should approach this fight and the camera cuts to him behind glass in prison, I laughed my head off. His family was ****ed up, it's incredible he achiedved what he achieved considering.
Like someone pointed out earlier -- the majority of fighters had very, very difficult upbringings. They've lived hard lives. You don't see many pampered rich kids who opt for prize fighting as a career.
For every privileged kid like Chris Algieri, there's like 150 in the sport who grew up on the opposite end of the spectrum. Hell probably more.
Lol come on man... Theres 100s of fighter who has it harder. Please... Was cool to know abt his upbringing but to to say he had it the hardest is just dumb...
This thread makes me think. We all know that hardship can produce great fighters. The hardship makes them fight harder.
It makes me wonder though how a country like Brazil, which is strife with hardship, cannot produce decent fighters with a population of 200 million.
Floyd makes stuff up or exaggerates, his own father said he sheltered his son away from the streets and that lil Floyd NEVER ran the streets he went straight to the gym and home after.
Kid Chocolates mom baby sat Floy din grand rapids and said Floyd was spoiled.
Floyd didnt grow up richie rich but he was spoiled for sure by his grand ma and aunt this why Floyd hates his father cause his pops didnt want to spoil him and made him work hard in the gym, I know many poor hood kids who are spoiled.
Yeah but those guys are from D.C.
Floyd on father shot a gun at him or something like that
Naw his uncle was shooting at Floyds dad while he was holding Floyd and he used Floyd as a shield
