AMIR KHAN has given himself two years to win a welterweight world title after taking time out to sort his financial "mess". The former light-welterweight world champion admitted he had been repeatedly ripped off and lost a chunk of his 40m ring earnings. Khan, 30, revealed how he had a "wake-up call" after a shake up of his team following his defeat by Saul Canelo' Alvarez last May. Click Here To Read More]
"I'll let my wife take care of my finances"....hahaha...a blind man in the dark could see where that's going.....
Hey, you never know. If she's really down for him, she might be the best one to help him out. I mean, she's gotta look out for their kids, so she don't want them to be broke
His comments at the end of the article seem really disjointed and cherry picked, and could easily be taken out of context. Is there an actual interview I can watch?
you actually want to listen to khan speak? you a masochist?
Is that the best you *******s can come up with when Amir is saying the people he trusted shafted him??? This happens all the time and 98% of you real idiots, if you came into big Money would probably be caught in the same position. The stupidity of the secret agents on this site never fails to amaze Me.
I read the full interview and he basically faced he same problems that a lot of people with money start to face...family and friends regard them as ATMs. Khan has cut them off as only he knows if tha twas the right decision.
Now he just needs to get back in the ring Maybe Guerrero next and then end the year with Pacquiao.
This coming from the guy who's most common saying is "I'll leave it to my team." "I've got a great team who look after all that stuff". He's such an idiot.
I'm not a Khan fan but I hope the guy can keep his financial life separate from his family! It's good he caught it before it was too late. Khan still has 3 or 4 nice money fights left which should be good for him after boxing. There's a reason his family wanted to get rid of his wife! She noticed what was going on & they needed her out of the way. Your family can be very shady when it comes to money & rarely has your best interest at heart.
To be honest I would rather trust mother & father than wife. His wife is a golddigger anyway.
Khan over reacted and shows some ignorance in some of his statements. Yes he needs to be careful with his money but of course he needs an office for him to make money. He needs those accountants and lawyers to take care of his interests. Now he claims his office is his gym but what happens to all his so called investments like his so called clothing brand and property portfolio? He does have to be on top of the situation but still needs people who run these things. As for the old emails, he needs old emails and people were doing a great job of keeping them although this function could be sub contracted. At the end of the day, nothing beats education, the best investment you can ever make is in your education.
Maybe true, but you'd figure Haymon would be his "office", but either way an 8000 pound server? Lol is he boxer or is he starting the next gmail? I got 2 offices, except the real estate value, nothing in both offices combined comes anywhere near value of 8 britsh gs
He is right. What does he need a server for? Remember Don King charging Tyson $8000 a week for towels? Boxers need to take more control of their financial affairs.
