Now that he's been exposed as just an ordinary fighter that looked extraordinary due to beating a bunch of bums, is anyone hoping Canelo sparks him out and ends the hype train once and for all? Canelo has more longevity to him, and he already has a much longer and better resume than Golovkin does anyway, so who hopes that Canelo just goes ahead and puts this one on his resume as a big win and gets it over with? It would make beating Canelo all the more impressive in the future as well.
Imagine he KO's Golovkin and then speaks his first words of English in the post-fight interview: "I'm not surprised, motherfuckers."
Cantnelo fans before the Chavez fight
He isn't a MW
He is small for MW
After he signed to fight jr
Canelo isn't afraid to be great
He is fighting a beast
Can't have it both ways
i never said his to small MW ,he will be probably bigger then GGG come fight night
I don't understand why everyone is saying Golovkin KO's Canelo, he could even KO chinny Jacobs with over 200 punches landed
Didn't he earn enough respect to not be call chinny. The one knockdown they fell into each other.
What I am hoping for is for both Canelo and GGG lose to lesser opponents for way less money then they would made fighting each other, and to end up fighting some really pathetic promotion like 10 years after anyone would have wanted to see the fight (Ala Hopkins vs Roy Jones #2).
I am so tired of boxers putting off the fights fans clearly want to see. Screw the both of them.
I don't know if I have a particular favorite between the two. Canelo-GGG should be a great fight. I'd be all for Canelo-Jacobs as well.
This is of course assuming he appears to be able to handle the size well at least against Chavez.
Thanks bro. I'm telling you I keep it real not like all these haters and homers. I want cantnelo next then a rematch then he last belt and retire
i know you do... and i agree with the order of the fights but i doubt he will have all the belts if he follows that order...
i didnt have the chance to give you props for scoring ggg-jacobs on an unbiased way, i had ggg winning by a point by the way... very close fight imo... kudos to a real ggg fan...:biggthump

So do you still think ggg will give Jacobs cancer again

Do you guys think Canelo would get in the ring with Jacobs and kick his ass or something? Come on, be real. Golden Boy won't even risk Canelo fighting Jacobs let alone school him, so let's not act as if Jacobs is some scrub middleweight. But hey, it's not as if Canelo has ever struggled with a fighter before, right?
So do you still think ggg will give Jacobs cancer again
Murray never been stopped true, but Geale was ko'ed by Quinlan and light welterweight Cotto
Bro cotto fought Gael after ggg. That's why he got sh it for it. He could have fought ggg but instead chose to fight the guy that ggg knocked out whilst being punched in the face and being off balance there is a siggy on it it's hilarious
I forgot about it. Also consider ggg has knocked out guys like Murray and Gael Ana they had never been dropped before
Murray never been stopped true, but Geale was ko'ed by Quinlan and light welterweight Cotto
"Jacobs will go out cold" GGG fans before a fight" ,"Jacobs is a monster ,elite fighter ,he would beat Canelo doe" GGG fans after a fight ,LMAO

I like Jacobs but he's been dropped by Sergio Mora, it's hard to let that fact slide, everyone considers Wlad chinny even tho he's only been dropped by power punchers, being dropped by Mora wouldn't even happen to Khan

You're getting my words twisted. Bottom line, my point is this:
Had canelo dropped the belts after the win over Cotto, stayed at 154 and beaten the top guys there, THAT is better than what golovkin has done at 160. Even if charlo isn't the goods, Andrade, Williams, Lara...ALL better opposition that anyone golovkin has fought at 160. I like Danny, but as was already mentioned, you can't claim Danny is chinny, and won't go passed rd x,y,z and THEN turn around and act like he's a monster in the division. It's the exact same as those claiming lemiuex is something special because of beating Stevens, that's all smoke and mirrors.
If one wants to make the argument that charlo and andrade are not A level, that's fine. I believe it's safe to say Lara has the skills to be at least considered a B+ fighter, if not A.
At this point, golovkin has fought 1 B level fighter, if you want to include a WW, I guess 2. However, cotto, Lara, trout, are all at least B, Floyd obviously schooling canelo and is A+, but at the end of the day, canelo has the better resume.
So, had canelo stayed at 154, and cleaned out his division (which I believe 154 has farrrrr more talent) he would've gotten so much sh1t, it would've been unreal.
Now, say golovkin should move up and "he's a small mw" or "he wants to collect all belts (bs excuse for not wanting to get his azz kicked)" and you're just sh1tting on him and "hate him" or some type of racial remark.
So golovkin is a small mw, but canelo at 5'7.5 or 5'8 isn't small? It's all hypocrisy.
Why do you care so much about what some ggg fans say? If canelo chose to stay at 154 and fight everyone...fine, it's better than what he's been doing. Imho, i doubt he would have fought charlo or andrade. My point about claiming 154 to be stacked with talent, and 160 being full of bums, is that until those guys actually prove their talent...you just don't know. I'd say charlo is on his way, but what if he lost to Jacobs or lemieux? There's a reason why they fight the fights...and if canelo is going to fight at mw, then you should want him to face ggg.
You can't talk up charlo and andrade as opponents for canelo, while sh*tting on jacobs as an opponent for ggg. You're basing everything on your opinion that those guys are the goods, which could turn out to be true, but right now you're just assigning value based on your personal preference. You clearly think Alvarez should fight the best had he stayed at 154...but don't want him to do the same at 160?
