Do you remember when this was a popular saying around here? I 'member. Dudes would love to say this when a particular fighter used his skill and technique to win fights. But now, a particular boxer uses actual boxing skill and tactics to win instead of just raw power, and now its not good enough. Somehow, this means a fighter was exposed. So why is using boxing skill and technique cool for some fighters to use as strategy, and not others?🤔
Lol at this fanboys now loving boxing once GGG fail to deliver.
What now HBO are going to talk about how important is the Jab? lol they been ****ting on boxers for years in favor of KOs an brawlers. And casuals got brainwashed and calling boring other boxers wins.
Now that GGG two biggest test, Lemieux and Jacobs have been a snooze fest in the logic of HBO and casuals, they may talk about the importance of strategies and winning rounds and not taking unnecessary risk by fighting reckless to please the brainwashed crowds.
They weren't snoozefests. Stop whining and go suck Canelo's d|ick.
This is not an intelligent passtime. I have other intelligent passtimes.
This is for cavemen. Scared cavemen who shamelessly take advantage of the rules to win a decision are boring & it's not truly a matter of skill so much as willingness.

"Boxing is entertainment, so to be successful a fighter must not only win but he must win in an exciting manner. He must throw punches with bad intentions." - Cus D’Amato
I like boxers who use their skill to create openings to attack. I don't like boxers who are there to grind a decision out, they bore me stiff unless they're good to watch and punishing their opponent. Think Ali, Tyson, Duran, Prince Naseem, RJJ...all entertaining with a unique way of winning. Mayweather and Ward are great, but there were so many times they could have thrilled us, but chose to play it safe even when the fight was easy. For example, Mayweather refusing to take out or stop Baldomir, even when he was a walking target all night. I remember during that fight Manny Steward saying it best, "i'll tell you something right now, the greats he says hes better than.. they wouldn't do this...I know Hearns would have gone after him", even after booing and fans leaving (including Tiger Woods) he still didn't let it hang for his fans - that's why he'll never be a better fighter than Ali despite his claims. Being a sound boxer isn't enough. You have to be entertaining.
even the atg's struggle in fights. didnt mayweather struggle against maidana? you and others have higher expectations of ggg than even his fans do :lol1: youre all so desperate for him to get exposed, well guess what, 37-0!!!!! damn that must really sting!!!!
Major league difference, Mayweather and other ATGs had fights they struggled with but along with those they had wins over high quality opponents. g string just can't say that.
I already explained your second paragraph. Yes great fighters have close fights. Except they prove their greatness vs top level guys. Not gabe rosados
Wait....you consider Daniel Jacobs on the same level as Rosado?
:lol1:

There is a reason HBO made sure ggg wouldn't fight Ward when they could've done it when all the top MW's wouldn't fight ggg.

Name all the middleweights of the past 5 years GGG flat out refused to fight.
Who (credible) has called him an ATG middleweight? I think he certainly will be considered one before retirement, but the book isn't out on his career yet, slow down.
And just because you are an ATG doesn't mean you don't have close fights, decision wins, or even losses. WTF are you on about homie? Put the hate away, my goodness.
And hell yes LeMule is better than Jacobs imo, might be even even, completely different fighters but both solid great fighters a tier under the most elite.

you make ggg sound like some novice. he holds 3 belts, 17 title defences. hes fought at world level for a long long time. he clearly won the fight. suck it up.
SUck what up? Jacobs is his best win even he doesn't have a real belt yet lol. Gg has 8 defenses, but of course you count the fake ass WBA regular belt as legit. He defended that vs some true bums it's shameful people are giving credit for that crap
Are people even complaining that he didn't knock him out? Gg fans say how he's an atg middleweight. If that was true he should have won much more clearly and not look so ordinary va Danny fukin Jacobs.
Still think Lemieux is better than Jacobs?

Why are you being stupid on purpose? I didn't say that at all. Gg looks great vs the stumblebums. Vs an above average fighter he doesn't look so special. It's not like Golovkin has a resume of great fighters.
Why do you keep ignoring/playing dumb? This is why you always block me cause I make your 'point' look stupid every time
It's good because we get what you are saying. It's either he doesn't interpret well or he is playing dumb.
You keep ignoring my question if you still think Lemieux is better I already answered like 5 of yours.
GG has been a pro for 10 years and some how it's everyone else's fault he hasn't fought any A class fighters. Funny
Nobody cares about Lemiuex.
Funny how all the previous 160 champs chose to not fight this overrated hypejob with no skill.
So its hbos fault that guys here have a double standard that only select fighters can use boxing tactics instead of just relying on power? Nah. Fighters like Winky Wright were praised for not having to rely on power to win fights.
Golovkin chooses to box against a big puncher, like he did against Lemieux, and hes put down for it. I thought you guys liked chess matches?
:lol1: Hyperion and I are the biggest Winky fans I know and trust they use to bash Winky hard. They said he was boring, some said it was better to watch paint dry.
Here is a difference for you.
Other champs were willing to fight floyd. At 160, there is a race to see who can get the furthest away from GGG. From Sturm, to Martinez to Cotto to canelo.
If GGG is such a hypejob, why didn't these champions just expose him?

Yea Floyd had a close fight with maidana. Here's the difference, he outclassed and schooled many other high class champions over the years.
You would have a point if maidana was floyds first step up fight and best opponent to date. Floyd was already proven 10x over vs A class fighters. Not 30 Martin murrays
You if you don't realize the difference then there's no hope for you
