Floyd Mayweather is not a Good businessman, that goes to George Foreman

First I want to say this isnt HATING, if Floyd becomes a great businessman ill give him props but everything he says is wool over your eyes stuff, aka PT barnum talk suckering people making them believe the hype when their is no real substance, aka con artist talk. Floyd is not TBE or the best businessman in boxing, what business ventures does he have? real estate every celeb has that. I have never seen an interview of Floyd where he gave great insight on business or investments or breakdowns on how business works, Ive seen Magic Johnson and other retired athletes go on Forbes discussing how they run businesses and invest, Magic has a degree from college and runs many businesses and made many deals like helping to buy the Dogers, now working as a president of operations for the Lakers, also owning his own movie theaters, fast food franchises etc. What Floyd did is not HARD, the boxing model aka PPV allowed him to hold the sport hostage he took advantage of it and thats the only way he can make money by over demanding what he is actually worth, he has no Brand, his Brand is not proven in order in business to sell a business you need Brand and proven statistics showing you profit etc. Without Boxing Floyd cant make money, all his money came from PPV, so many sports stars have demanded more money, Floyd gets the lions share thanks to Ali with the Ali act which gave Floyd the chance to get the lions share and demand more. he is not a Great businessman, he is a snake oil salesman he hypes up fights but stinks the joint out so you dont get what he promises on figh tnight and he laughs to the bank,how can he claim TBE of boxing in business when his brand isnt even sold in stores, George Foreman is the best businessman in boxing. George Foreman is the greatest boxer businessman in my eyes, he tooks his brand he went BROKE made a comeback used the money he made and invested it in a business idea and marketed it himself as the face of it and built his brand making 100s of millions of the George Foreman grill. Show me an interview where Floyd discusses business like this? This is the closest thing I can find to Floyd venturing in business this was from several years ago and I never seen any Lottery Soda in the stores or commercials

Are they more modern now or still same old thing? I'm asking cause I'm tired of ****ing cooking and having to do dishes, clean the stove and a buncha other ****. I don't mind cooking. The dishes part is just annoying af. I feel you! I hate washing the dishes! I even bought a dishwasher earlier than a washing machine. It is used heavily as we rarely go out to eat somewhere and prefer cooking at home, so there are always lots of dishes to wash. We had to call the appliance repair services in south florida https://sparkservice.us/ twice to fix the washer in the last 2 years. Maybe next time we will choose another brand. But I don't regret anything as this appliance saves me so much time.

Everybody knows this talk about TBE being a good businessman is all crap. He retired at a young age with zero reason to, except duck prime fighters in his division. He tried venturing into business and went broke. He then decided to sneak in and out of the ring fighting underdogs, fought once a year, and that worked in his favor unintentionally. Those Hoya fans who got doubly disappointed by seeing their hero lose plus rematch rejection followed him around and wanted to see him lose. Nothing to do at all with being good in business. His ducking behavior made him an attraction, not because he's an entertaining fighter.

Dishes are the worst but yeah it's pretty much the same. The one I have is like 2 years old F*ck dishes and dishwashers are useless. Oh Idk how they are now. That's still relatively new. Last time I had one was when I was like 12-15 and Im 30 now. :lol1:

I had one of those other long flat grills and that sh*t was wack. The grease would still be all over the place and I would still have to clean the stove (where I'd set the grill) plus the grill. F*ck all that sh*t.

Ofc Floyd isnt a businessman, he is a BIDNESS man. Seriously though, Big George isn't some business genius either. He got handed the offer to put his name to the grill after Hulk Hogan had already turned it down (ended up going with spaghetti sauce or something lol). Foreman did not start any of that and the PR and marketing teams involved with the grill were the ones that took Foreman's new, friendly, big fat lovable guy image and used it to promote their stuff. Having said that, Foreman has milked that one thing so much, he is worth God knows how much and never needs to box again.

You guys are giving Foreman way too much credit. He put his name on a product that he liked. Really the Foreman grill is a terrible product for cooking meat anyway. It's great as a press though so I still use it for that.

There is nothing wrong with semantics. And nothing you said puts up a decent rebuttal to what I wrote - There are ways in which you can land in certain situations and circumstances where you're able to make more money than someone else even if you don't have the superior business acumen. It's not as simple and cut and dry as pointing to their net worth and thinking you have the answer. Foreman has given interviews where he talks about the in's and out's of business; Floyd, by contrast, stumbles to give an insightful answer whenever he's asked about advice in the business world. Chael Sonnen was even talking about this on his podcast the other day - How Mayweather is questioned about real estate and what type of things is wisest to invest in, and you could tell he didn't have a clue. What he has, is a team of smart people behind him and almost nothing else.

So I must say mayweather is smarter than foreman as he has made better business choices in his life that has him almost $100 million dollar richer than forman and accomplished that feat 28 years earlier faster than foreman. You truly are a moron. If you know anything about either, you'd know that 99 times out of 100, Foreman would be the better businessman, in any given field, than Floyd would. Mayweather made a lot of money through his boxing career - and that's hardly the benchmark of intelligence, nor is it as impressive as it sounds when you realize most of it wasn't directly his doing - but he is complete sh*t when it comes to anything else. He isn't even on Oscar Dela Hoya's level, business wise.

It's interesting that both guys changed their image in their careers. Foreman was seen as a mean, nasty, gruff monster in the 70s but then morphed into a friendly jolly grandfather type figure in the 90s Floyd was a young phenom, somewhat humble, clean cut "pretty boy" Floyd but then morphed into a WWE type villain "money may"
