How the hell are they STILL proclaiming Chocalatito who got smacked up in a razor thin "victory" in his last bout (underwhelming fight previous as well) pound for pound king?
The increasingly sickening bias to their dwindling roster of fighters during fights and that farce of a show by Lampley is getting harder to stomach.
My point proved Chocolatito's offensive game may be elite but he's lacking in other departments. Now that he's literally NOT the big man on campus per se his "greatness" has diminished. The noticeable decline started fights ago. Villoria had some moments, McWilliams Arroyo fight really opened my eyes. It was very competitive and he was lacing Choco with 3 to 4 punch combos on occasion. The Cuadras fight confirmed my doubts. HBO's bias has been a smokescreen for Chocolatito & to a lesser extent GGG of late. Tonight's fights definitely took the bloom of both roses tonight. I can't say I was surprised by anything tonight. That pound for pound list on the Fight Game show by Lampley is a complete and utter joke. It's a shame they can't be objective but it's LITERALLY bad for business. The Thai guy was pounding on Gonzales at times with numerous shots and either the commentators said little to nothing or were waxing poetic on the blood pouring out of Chocolatito's face then highlighting all of Choco's blows in between rounds. Call the damn fight already.
GGG winning rd. 1 with better footwork was the icing on the cake LOLZ
It's whatever... I've pretty much come to expect self-serving angles coming from them (it's HBO after all) so I don't put much stake in anything they say, or get pissed when they act like clowns. What I don't get is how people talk mad shyt on Lampley, but then he's their Mosses when he says Kovalev beat Ward. Come on guys, some consistency...
It's annoying how they don't mention any PBC fighter
Sometimes max goes out of his way to name pbc fighters but yeah they have become quite annoying as a group. Individually, they are cool. It's time to switch it up
