NATE DIAZ believes Conor McGregor has a slim chance of beating Floyd Mayweather. McGregor, Ireland's first UFC champion, is currently chasing a boxing match with Mayweather and has made it clear he won't fight anyone other than the five-weight world champion. Click Here To Read More]
Probably 5-6%. Thats still a chance.
Then consider that out of that 5-6 percent only 0.5 percent will be cleanly landed punches as most of those will be half blocked puinches or punches that Floyd was already moving away from.
Then consider that Mayweather has a damn good chin so even if he landed one clean punch, he certainly aint knocking him out with that.
Let's face the facts here gentlemen, McGregor doesn't stand a chance.
I kept saying this and I was told on here I dont know what I am talking about.
What gives Mcgregor a punchers chance is Mayweather is 40, and McGregors in his 20s, he will probably be bigger (weight wise) than any fighter Mayweather has ever faced if its at 154. Hes also a southpaw with long reach and if anyone thinks a world champion MMArtist isnt capable of throwing a proper punch, they gotta be smoking crack. Of course landing that punch is the problem but I dont think the odds of landing it are Lottery odds high just not good enough to wager any $ on thats for sure.
Marquez landed only 12 percent and Pacquiao 17/19 percent of his punches. How many you think McDonald will land?
no it doesnt, it means exactly what it says a punchers chance. He will be outskilled but all it takes is one punch landing in the second mayweather made a mistake or left himself open for a second too long.
If a person throws that punch and it lands hes lucky? lol more like that guy it landed on made a mistake.
Why are we even arguing this ****? Mayweather's defense, reaction time, agility, reflexes, and chin are too good for him to get one punch KO'd even if he made a mistake, and his recovery time and survival skills are too good for a elite pro boxers to finish him off much less Connor Freakin McFarlane.

I doubt if Mcgregor would rate on the top 20 puncher's Mayweather has ever fought. Like Nate said anyone can look good for 5 minutes, but he'll be figured out quickly.
He could hurt Floyd if he allows him to hit him but the problem is that it's basically one of the most talented defensive fighter ever vs. an mma fighter who has never boxed a pro round ever. Why anyone thinks this can be anywhere near competitive is beyond me.
I don't give him a puncher's chance. McGregor is incredibly slow and you can see his punches coming a mile away. I don't even give him a chance to land a significant punch even if Mayweather's arms are tied and Dana White is holding him in place.
Conors power will disappear when he steps into the ring with boxing gloves. Just watch.
Good point. We don't even know if he is a "puncher" with 8 or 10 ounce gloves.
if Nate Diaz calls Mcgregor's boxing skill "amateur" what does he think of his own boxing talent? below amateur maybe.
MMA guys cannot box for sht. period. if they could they'll be boxing making way more money.
Paulie Malignaggi would box the eyebrows off Mcgregor.
this fight shouldn't count as a boxing victory for Floyd. record should stay the same. it's a damn circus. nothing more.
it was fun talking about this nonsense at first. but what boxing fan would brag if Floyd beats Conor. that's nothing to boast about.
if Floyd isn't coming back to face some of these prime welters then stay gone.
Or maybe they just like MMA more? People don't always go after the highest-paying job. Boxing is easier than MMA.
I dont think Paulie for instance has a punchers chance , a punchers chance is for someone who can hurt you if you make a mistake , some fighters can't.
Even Pauli has stopped guys, you don't need a lot of raw power just get the right shot in and if they don't see it coming, well stranger things have happened Pauli had his last opponent on the edge from one unseen shot.
Don't engrave what I said in stone, I see that quote so many times and all it says to me is sure everybody got 2 fists and sht happens, but don't bet on it.
Look at the video when Nate says it and Ward with a smirk said you think so and Nate went all coy, they know Connor got no chance.
Every body has a punchers chance I get sick of hearing the term, it means your only chance is luck.

Mayweather could be 55 years old, McGregor has no chance in a boxing ring against him. I would literally take ANY bet in CA or of Floyd outside of a knockout. This is a circus built for casual and gullible fans.....And it will sell and be disappointing.
