For the position he's in? The guy fought mostly bums until last year or so. Karras didn't come to win that fight. Neither did collazo. Does he have the star quality to become a ppv attraction or will he lose it all within a year.
Thurman strikes me as a guy who isn't sure about who he wants to be. He hasn't established his public persona yet. Does he want to be hardcore, thuggish, or does he want to be the guy who takes the high road and leaves the trash talking behind? He's like the Roman Reigns of boxing.
He always speaks like he's acting in a movie. Or a wwe wrestler on the mic. I noticed that from the start.
Sounds like he's cutting a Macho Man/Hogan-like promo in some of his interviews. He's probably what would be called a natural actor. Should probably dabble in acting. He has good mic skills for a boxer, and for someone who doesn't take acting/speech classes like pro wrestlers do, he's pretty natural at it. Maybe have Haymon talk to Vince to put him on a brief wrestling story line that leads to a wrestling PPV.
I don't know man. He seems pretty obviously high most of the time.

They should take away the Mic from Thurman. Hes like the guy on WWE that needs a manager like Paul Haymon or Bobby the brain Heenan to speak for him because he has 0 personality.
He is a unique guy, I think he does have some star potential in the charisma department.
I need to see him do some late night talk shows or any talk show for that matter.

lol thats what I was saying too. As if he had rehearsed all his line beforehand.
He was once a commentator for a fight, dont know which, but he used so many corny phrases, he could compete with Mr. Freeze from Batman & Robin.
He talks in that third person attitude but he always like you said thought he was something big when he wasn't and Elmer Fudd put him in his place at his own press conference
