According to Carl Froch, He spoke to Haye after his operation and Haye informed him he was not going to retire what so ever and promises to become a world heavyweight champion. Froch also told Sky Sports news that Haye's first priority is to get the rematch with Bellew. I personally think the rematch would be absolutely huge in terms of hype and publicity within the UK, pretty much on the scale of Froch vs Groves 2.

If he's obsessed with proving himself, why did he **** it against Klitschko when he talked his way into a shot? Why did he fight bums like Di Mori & Gjergjaj whilst professing to be the best HW in the world? Why did he fight CW David Bellew instead of waiting for a HW world title shot against Parker?
Yes boxing is about money, but Haye is the most shameless money grabber of the lot. I'm not having a go at him about it, i'm just telling it how it is.
For whatever reason, none of the leading HW fighters or any current medium level fighters wanted to fight Haye.
You need to ask them why, possibly for a number of reasons but the only big fight was Bellew and believe me when I tell you, Haye didn't want this fight last year, he wanted to fight a leading HW, but as it turned out, his only option of a big event was Bellew.
You know what's boxing like - fighters avoid each other - and now they be wondering why they avoided Haye as his body is shot but sad to See Haye desperate to win a HW title when he should walk away.
... Haye showed a strange ring movement from the very beginning...
Completely agree. He was flat footed from the start and was loading up on most of his shots.
I think he knew he was risking the tendon from the start, was flat footed to avoid putting too much stress on it and loading up to try and KO Bellew as he always knew he was on borrowed time with the injury.
He looked awful before the slip for one of two reasons:
1. His timing is gone
2. He went in with the injury and was trying to finish it ASAP before the ankle gave up
Either way, I think he's shot. He quietly aborted any number of comebacks and I very strongly suspect it's all about his body breaking down. I also suspect that's why Adam Booth no longer wanted to be involved.

Bellew is a legit world champ. Nobody wanted anything to do with Makabu and everyone including you picked him to spark Bellew out.
He's entertaining as well, that fight on Saturday was pure entertainment, as was the Flores fight & the Makabu fight before that.
As for Masternek, it was a close fight that could've gone either way, a bit like your boy Parker against Ruiz.
He finished off the "cripple" and knocked his arse out the ring.
I see you've transferred your blinkered fanboyism over from the gypsy to the scouse potatoe.
winning a vacant belt because the champion drozd got injured is the polar opposite of being 'legit' :lol1:
Haye was easily winning before the injury and would've stopped him late with how bad Bellew gasses late.

Have you seen Bellews website? look at the footer and who developed it (visit the link)"cheap web design Liverpool".
All boxers need/care about money, how else are you going to live a life?
Haye's main problem, is he's obsessed with proving himself, while not understanding the inside of his body is breaking down, even if the exterior looks healthy, so while everyone wrongly believes he's driven by money, it's more that he is obsessed, getting old and desperate to finish his career with a HW title, which would have happened if he stayed with Booth, instead of wrongly thinking he could train differently and avoid injuries.

The only thing Haye cares about is the money imo. He knew that if he quit against Bellew citing injury, no big name fighter would go near him in the future.

Hate hasn't had many fights and even less so when you consider he kos most people early. Plus he himself says he don't take many punches.
So he can still have another go to get himself a Joshua or wilder fight
Froch was a legit world champ and incredibly fun to watch and support.
Bumlew, is a fat pudding who has euro level skills and has massively overachieved/ been lucky af.
Lost to that polish bum masternek, gets a robbery.
Beat a starving african midget for a vacant belt.
couldnt even finish off a cripple
he disgusts me.]

Only to trigger guys like you! :lol1: :lol1:
Nah I've always like Tony. I like fighters who make the most of limited natural talent. Was a big Froch fan as well.

A rematch with Bellew will rake in gobs of cash, and the winner's subsequent title shot would be a huge fight too. Too many good opportunities for a guy as skilled as Haye, even if he is a bit long in the tooth.
Yeah a rematch is still the biggest money fight for them other than a Joshua fight imo. I think it'll happen. Haye must really be broke if he wants to carry on after this.

It's got to be pride more than anything, all the talking before the fight about how easy it would be and it ends like that. Arguably the result may have been different without the injury but he was struggling with Bellew before that.

Struggling? he was up 4-1?
Just because he didnt blast Bellew out in 5 rounds, doesnt mean he was struggling, sometimes it takes a little longer, sometimes a knockout doesn't come.
Bellew came in there with a gameplan, which was to simply survive, by rounds for and 4 -5, he started getting tagged more and more, and then round 6 Hayes injury occurred.
Bellew was a stone lighter than Haye, he is naturally the lighter man, so he used his feet to move around more, for Haye it was a case of trying to pin the tail on the donkey, by round 4 Bellew started to gas a little. It was only a matter of time till Haye would land that punch combo
The rematch makes sense, but that should be it.
His body is breaking down, he's now going to have to come back from a ruptured achilles (notoriously difficult for athletes, especially 35+ year olds) and he's inactive...beat Bellew to right that wrong and hang them up.
Haye was easily winning before the injury and would've stopped him late with how bad Bellew gasses late.
It really wasn't 'easily' it was pretty even until the injury, Haye slightly leading.
