Eddie Hearn says Haye/Bellew did more PPV buys than all of Anthony Joshua's

I bet you Bellew's fights from now on will be PPV. I'm 100% sure of it too. Clev/Bellew 2 did bigger numbers than Quigg/Frampton so he's already kind of a draw and this fight would've got his name out there even more. I'd be surprised if he is a supporting act or headlines a free show again. Nobody is paying for a Bellew fight unless its a freak matchup, i.e Bellew vs Jousha, or Wilder. But a Haye rematch will set his future on a next level, a lot of money to be made

It'll do even more if there is a rematch with the leg controversy and Haye giving the fans their moneys worth

I told them it was worth sticking a few quid on Bellew. The odds were pretty ridiculous for a two horse race, and like you say, we didn't really know how much Haye had left. I said that a Haye KO was favourite, but it's HW boxing, you never know!! He might not be able to catch Bellew early, and if it went more than 5 rounds, Bellew would be my pick to win and he could well do it by KO. So now my "boxing expert" rep is enhanced. Bellew does a pretty good job of selling a fight. I know some people who bought Cleverly v Bellew 2 and they barely watch boxing. Whether people like Bellew or not, he uses Sky Sports coverage as a platform to really sell his fights. The guy is a good salesman and dramatic. He deserves all the success.

Haye is a bigger name. It's only that he knows he is washed up which is why he has been fighting bums but there shouldn't be any comparison between Haye and Joshua. It's too early for Joshua to match Haye at the box office.

Joshua-Haye would have been the biggest British fight in history, shame we'll never get to see it now. Fuck! Tony Bellew is a bigger draw than Anthony Joshua!
