Why no KOs?

Everyone knew there wasn't going to be a KO. You have to factor in just how much each fighter had to lose, belt and undefeated record, so they're gonna fight smart, but Garcia just didn't try imo - he's so much better than this but didn't bring his A game.

Golovkin has been a professional for over a decade at this point, and the Jacobs fight is almost literally the first time he's been placed into an actual 50/50 fight; if you think he's just blowing through Jacobs, you're fooling yourself. Errol Spence Jr is months away from his fight with Kell Brook; unless either guy walks onto something massive, I doubt that anyone gets blown out there either. Heavyweight boxing is always going to be what it is, but Wilder taking on Joshua (or even the coming Joshua-Klitschko fight) isn't going to be something that either guy will take lightly. Wilder didn't knockout Stiverne and that is his biggest fight of his career

In most of the fights you listed, those fighters were expected to get knocked out because they were mismatches. Brook? Lol did anybody expect any other outcome? Well if you want Thurman to fight Wilder level of opposition he will get more KOs. If you want to see the best fight the best then you need to learn to appreciate their entire skill package offensively and defensively Stfu who says i don't appreciate the skill all I'm saying is a fighter shouldn't only be able to ko bums especially if there one of the best fighters in the world. All I'm saying is these guys are hyped as big punchers but we only see then ko "tomato cans". You just did. It doesn't get much bigger than Canelo/Khan and Golovkin/Brook. The sweet science isn't going away. If you don't like it don't watch those fighters. It's their job to win however they need to, period. It's nothing special to ko an overmatched fighter like Canelo or ggg did or like most top prospects do. I know you can't always expect a knockout at the top level but if these guys are as good as they're hyped they should be able to ko elite fighters. That's honestly why boxings losing popularity. We're all boxing fans here but 3.5/4 out of people watching don't give a fvck about someone's footwork or using there reach or defense. If Leonard can ko hearns or holyfield can stop Tyson is it too much to ask in this day and age for one elite fighter to stop another?

Exactly right. I'm really sick of wannabe boxing "fans" where all they want to see is knockouts. Then they get knockouts and they're like "oh but those aren't top fights doe". Then proceeds to call out Badou Jack vs James DeGale as a top fight. LMAO It's not the 90's anymore. They've cracked down on steroids. You are HIGHLY unlikely to see knockouts at the upper tier now. Which means you either (A) learn to appreciate the sweet science, (B) learn to live with the midcard where the knockouts happen regularly, or (C) switch to MMA where even they struggle to knock people out. You're saying it was steroids when Ray Leonard stopped guys or Hearn stopped guys. You saying Degale-Jack wasn't the two to SMWs? When the very top fighters in the division fight it is rare to have KO's. The 4 four guys you have mentioned haven't really been fighting or able to fight the very best in their divisions. Like if Wilder and Joshua were to fight there wont likely be a KO finish because both will have so much respect for each others power and skill and therefore be extra cautious. Spence is about to fight his first real top opponent in Brook and I'd be surprised if he KO's Brook. Beat Brook sure he has the skills to do so but I/d be surprised if he stops Brook like he/s been doing to everyone. GGG has been avoided by the very best in the division so yeah.. Also you have to take into the styles when two top fighters fight. These guys should be able to get some kos especially when you dominate like Crawford.
