Bellew was not drained at 175.
That's his best weight.
Ain't gonna argue with you now, bud. Whatever it is he moved up to Cruiser at about age 30 which is about when most guys start struggling with the cut. It seems to suit him. Heavyweight doesn't though.
A new lie they mention for the FIRST time.
Bellew was drained all of a sudden.
It's not news to anyone who followed him (or just LHW - most of the 6'2", 6'3" guys at LHW end up at cruiser or even heavy), but neither does it detract from Stevenson's win. There's no doubt Stevenson is (or was) still one of the biggest punchers in the game, though.
Bellew was a zombie at 175 though, that much is for sure. Not to take anything away from Stevenson, it was a good stoppage win but if you've ever seen Bellew in real life, it's astonishing to think he ever fought at LHW.
IT was a good stoppage by stevenson but bellew was drained at light hw.
Bellew fought in the amateurs as a hw.
He lost against cleverly at light hw but in their rematch at cruiser he looked much stronger/sturdy
Bellew took Haye best shots, but Adonis knocked Bellew to the canvas.
Just shows how hard Adonis hits.
People crap on Stevenson, and for good reason, but no one denies his power. He's routinely included in lists of biggest punchers in the sport
You mean he ate himself out of 175:lol1:
Bellew is SOFT...look at him...he's not ripped with low body fat.....If he were I'd believe he out grew LHW.
Some people aren't lean. He admits that he is not a gifted athlete himself...
There are people that box, or exercise who simply do not ever look lean or muscular and they do the same, or if not more workouts/training than others.
I remember seeing him in 2011 and he was leaner, but definitely not some ripped type of boxer. He describes himself as a fighter with a big heart.
His early career was actually at Cruiser weight...
He also was a heavyweight as an amateur.
Maybe you know this, or you don't. I am not sure but as a British fan, I know a bit about him which leads me to believe he outgrew LHW.

He's definitely a big puncher but Bellew also outgrew 175.
Tony is a lot bigger than I though, he stands at a legit 6'3. I don't think he's a natural 175er
He was drained in that fight. We all know Adonis has powerful hands
Stevenson is massive fighter and everyone undergards his resume, but Bellew was always drained at light heavyweight and Haye was injured, at Cruiserweight Bellew would kill Stevenson
Bellew got stopped by Stevenson....not by Haye.
i'm sure he was not able to put 100% into that shot after he hurt his ankle. Furthermore haye didnt even look or move 100% from round 1, He was hiding that injury i bet.

didnt you see Bellew go down on hayes shot just after he hurt his ankle?
