Yes, I also agree... the negatives are interesting more than something that detrachts. He had pissed me off royaly with his pac man haterade :lol1:
A lot of people feel that Paulie being a fighter makes him a great commentator, yet there are many fighters and trainers (including the guys you point out) that don't have the insight or the delivery that Paulie does.
What pissed me off was his rant about Haymon after the Broner fight then he joins the guy. I think it had to do more with me disliking Haymon than anything else though. Once again, I can't judge Paulie's decision because Idk what I would do if I was in his shoes.
Lol during the replays when he sees something nice he gets all excited. Like when Mikey Garcia KOed his last opponent. When he turned after he hit the dude Paulie was all excited about Garcia turning.
Hey man, thanks for the info. Yea Paulie is a loudmouth but everyone has their flaws and I think his positives outdo his negatives so the dude is straight in my book. He is one of the better commentators out there because not only is he knowledgeable but also energetic. You have people like Sugar Ray Leonard and Virgil Hunter who are energetic but they are very bland when they commentate.

Your correct imo. paulie also has moments of pure genius insights in his commentary. he just has a certain insecurity that seems to frame his personality otherwise...it is indeed a good point that the other fighter has no need to carry on as such. I grew up in the city and while my hood was Puerto Rican I played baseball in a neighborhood like Paulies... Lots of hotheaded Itralians trying to punk one lol. Its just sort of the way people say "hello and good morning to you" back in the day. So I kind of "get" Paulie.
I vascilate as to whether I like him or not:lol1: presently I do...Think of it this way: max Kellerman, a fellow commentator, was raised in a well educated jewish family that managed to get him into what was and still is perhaps the most elite public school in the country for High School. Paulie, much like myself, cut school... Yet, comparing them as commentators? Paulie is better and worth listening to in a way Kellerman could only wish to be. I also overcame my circumstances and have an Master's degree...So I emphathise with Paulie in this regard...Guys a scrapper!

Idk about down but he stopped Senchenko a few years back. Paulie has really bad hand problems and I think that's why he fights the way he does. Im pretty sure I've seen them bleeding after one of his fights. I can't remember which one. I know after he fought Cotto's bro he showed them too and were really swollen, both of them.
Paulie for being a "pretty boy" is a real tough dude. He fights thru beatings and with bad hands too. I respect the guy no matter how much he talks.

Paulie's just trying to get in the guys head and hype the fight a bit . Paulie's a pretty good fighter but on his way to being a Damn good fight commentator .
^^^^^
The guy who's never been in a fight his entire life except the time he had 2 dicks up his ass at the same time. Guess who won that one ?
who won that one? me obviously.
Sam Eggington is ranked in the top 15 by the WBC and holds the WBC International title...
I'm pretty sure thats what he's talking about. So i don't think it's being entitled, because it's very possible.
i dont think he was talking about that at all. eggington is ranked 14th only by the wbc and he said beating him would put him back in the lower half of the top 10 so that doesnt even make much sense even if he was only talking about wbc rankings. how does he jump 7-8 guys by beating the 14th ranked guy?
"if i beat sam egginton i'm back in the top 10" -paulie
enter the mind of an entitled person.

every boxers hands are going to be swollen after a 12 round fight. paulie is just a guy who complains about it more because hes the king of excuses.

I was watching his post fight interview after the first Diaz fight and it was the exact same as the one after the Broner fight. Lol
meh....must have been an off night for ss. everyone knows people survives paulie fights.
anyway, paulie wasnt intimidating people in his prime, this version sure aint gonna instill fear :lol1:
Lol certainly not. I'm curious to see if he will change his trunks style for this fight like he has changed his hairstyle.
paulie does take his beatings. ill give him that much.

horrible stoppage
Not really. Look @ 36:06 or so how Senchenko shells up then around 36:09 he gets jabbed on the bad eye and looks at Smoger. He didn't want to fight anymore.
