Well, you do have to question how a guy who couldn't fight or train because of a severe shoulder injury and operation has come back with added size and muscle mass...it doesn't quite add up. Although he had been training for a while before the first fight back, the first pictures of him when he got back in training looked extremely suspicious to me, and i'm sure plenty of others mentioned it too.
Bear in mind that, being "retired", he would not have been tested by anyone e.g. UKAD for the duration of that "retirement"; a very clever ploy imo!
Pot, kettle, black. This is a guy that got beat by Nathan Cleverly and in the rematch, couldn't knock him out. What's Bellew's best win? He drones on about having a load of power, but 18ko's isn't that impressive for a so-called power puncher with 28 fights, most of them tomato-can domestic level fighters at light heavy.
Haye meanwhile has proven his skill and power at cruiser and at heavy. To say 'no top-10 heavies' is a bit misleading as to be honest, Wlad aside, there really wasn't much out there during Haye's WBA reign. Maybe Adamek or the russian dude. Joshua, Wilder, Parker, Fury etc have all filled the gap since he semi-retired. Chisora was a good win and remains a solid HW.
That being said, his come back fights have been embarrassing.
Yes, and I believe he was speaking the truth when he has alluded to how Haye has added size!

Haye came to dance against Wlad, literally.. Ran all night & then complained about the bee stung toe..
But Haye hits way harder for Bellew to handle.. Haye should get him out in less than 5 rounds..
Indeed. I think a lot of people don't warm to Bellew because of the way he speaks and his manner. However behind the front, he actually seems a decent guy and speaks a lot of truth in general.

Bellew's somewhat harsh manner speaks a lot of truth!
