Who wants to watch a fight when you already know who is gonna win. Khan either schools his opponents or gets KTFO, and that is what people want to see. No one doesn't like to watch a superfast fighter or like to see Khan doing his Bambi legs dance in the ring. He is entertaining to watch, and after all, this is a spectator sport.
The thing is that Khan has been fighting in America for far too long, and that has meant that he is completely disenfranchised from his UK fans. People watch boxers because of how they fight, no one really gives two F**KS about their personality.
Khan needs to find against a solid opponent on Skysports or ITV, to get the maximum amount of viewership. If he puts on performance like he did with Collazo or Alexander, he will have all the casual fans wanting to see him fight and cheering his name. A good solid win in the UK, makes the Brook fight a bigger fight. Fighting Brook now makes no sense, the casuals don't even know that Khan is still boxing.
Khan needs to sack Asif Vali and Denis Hobson, they are cowboys who don't know sh*t about promoting. Eddie Hearn is the promotor to be with, and Hearn would sign Khan in a heartbeat. Khan has maybe 3 or 4 years left in Boxing, and needs a promotor who knows what he is doing.
Secondly, he needs a f****** PR team. Some of his tweets are absolutely cringeworthy, like 'I will fight Brook when I say'. Even if that is what he feels in his heart, he shouldn't be tweeting cr'p like that.
If itv can tie up some of the loose high profile British fighters like Khan and David haye they could start seriously competing against match room in the UK
Maybe. Great if they could but I doubt it. Khan is not a fighter anymore. He fights once a year usually against uninspiring opposition.
Haye is not crossing over as he knows the big fights for him at at Sky with AJ and on box-office.
Khan should go with BT and lead a PPV fight with Pacquiao there. Would be a great start for that channel.
But that probably wouldn't do great numbers as its not in the UK and its without a big promoter.
Sky sports have given Khan to boxnation ffs :lol1:
Why would they be unhappy with him going to ITV?

Hearns losing the plot with the Eubanks itv and warrens new bt deal, Khan going itv would be a big blow . His monopoly over British boxing could start waning A bit.He is ready to announce fight of the century though according to his last itv interview and it includes Martin Murray :P
Khan going on itv would be a great move for him at this stage of his career imo

Kell hasnt beaten GGG and Porter!
-Khan schooled a Malignaggi in his backyard, where Broner found difficulty.
-Khan schooled Judah, the same Judah that gave Garcia major problems.
-Khan beat Maidana better than Mayweather, did in his first fight with Maidana.
Brook hasn't schooled any world class / former champion, cuz he does everything OK and is nothing special. he will be remembered for f all.
Whereas Khan will go down as the 17 year old kid who nearly beat Kindelan in 2004 olympics. The kid who became WC at aged 22, the guy who made 5 succesful defences against quality opposition, before being robbed vs Peterson.
One of the most exciting fighters post 2000.
lol@Malignaggi lol@judah
He is exciting, but let's face it: he's been ducking Brook for a decade now

Khan and the ITV have had huge successive in the past and that partnership really kickstarted the birth of boxing being mainstream again in the uK after Naz, Eubank and Benn left the scene.
So Im all for it...unless its ppv.

LacedUp is a troll. He is literally Kell Brook's rectum. Apparently he was once in love with Khan the way he is with Brook right now! It's such a shame he has Joe Frazier as his avatar! Btw Maidana is a better win than Porter who's best win is Broner who lost to Maidana. Also you don't get credit for finally facing a live pulse mando when it was that or lose the belt and lose to the top dogs at 154. Once Spence beats Brook let's hope LacedUp disappears with him.
Porter is a bag of sh*te. Barely beat Alexander, and his best win was against a Malignaggi that was a part time boxer. Broner is just crap, he is so crap, Khan can beat him without a training camp, which is why Broner will never fight him.
Who has Spence beat!!!!???
You just hate Khan - you give him 0 credit.
hahaha.. Porter is a bag of ****e but you pull out victories over Judah and Malignaggi.
Take a seat mate.

such delusions are only seen with Khan fans. haha
I said after Spence. I've never said Brook has a better resume than Khan at the time of the porter fight.
you can find a quote though, otherwise you're just lying.
When Brook has beaten Spence, he's beaten Porter too. Those two guys would be the best wins on Khan's resume by a long stretch.
however, you can't say anything against it so instead you're resorting to ad hominem which is typical for people not knowing what they talk about. In this case, you and boxing.

brook is scheduled to fight Spence.
Remind me again who Khan has beaten that compares to Porter, GGG or Errol Spence?

You remember he was outboxing Canelo. I don't remember that at all. According to the neutral computers Canelo landed more punches than Khan in every round. Canelo was going to win by KO without a doubt. You can give Khan all the punch resistance you want and he still gets KOed by Canelo. Canelo was killing him with body punches. There is no way in hell Khan could ever beat Canelo without a gun. If Khan is a Brook beater why won't he fight him??????
From a technical perspective, Canelo Alvarez was having a difficult time dealing with Amir Khan's speed and movement! he was by no means dominating, or beating down Amir Khan! but as per usual there is always a point in the fight, where Khan reverts back to his fundamental boxing type! Fundamentally Amir Khan is a offensive fighter, all of his physical/technical attributes have always been most potent when he feels confident enough to let his hands go! Danny Garcia during their fight, was being completely dominated until he closed his hands and threw a left hook..(That was pretty much his only method he could implement to win!)...its just a shame as a fighter that Amir Khan's punch resistance lets him down at times....
The fight between Kell Brook & Amir Khan will happen, and if the match up is contested at 147? Amir Khan will win!
Look, you are teh same guy who said brook had a better resume, in fact I believe you said he "****s all over Khans" and then I schooled you and you couldnt reply which other top fighter Brook fought beside Porter at the time. So get on your bike mate.
You're either in Brok/Hearns employ or you were the guy who knifed Brook after he refused to suck you off.
:op:

Both Malignaggi and Alexander got their asses handed to them by Porter yet are of course more accomplished :lol1: Barrera was old as fuk, the fact that you even would bring his name up.
Same with Judah.
It's easy to get big fights when you get promoted from the first fight you have. Khan didn't have to go through the small hall shows like Brook did. So lets not get too impressed.
No one Khan has beaten could beat Porter, let alone Spence. and no one Khan has fought could beat GGG.
And Khan is still ducking Brook like a biatch and you're deflecting your insecurities on Brook. It's pathetic.

Brook didn't beat GGG.
Khan has fought more accomplished names than both Spence and Porter. In fact, combine both their resumes, accomplishments, impact on the sport and it still wouldn't compare to Barrea or Judah, let alone Malignaggi, Maidana or Alexander.
Hasn't Brook literally faced a single world title holder at his best weight in 30+ fights?
Khan had a HOFer on his resume and unified at 140 by his 27th pro fight, aged what, 23?
Brook is 31 or so :dunce:

All trolling aside, I respect Amir Khan for going to America and chasing the big fights. He could have stayed in England and won a title and defended it against mandatories. He could have made a decent living without the big risks. It is a shame that he won't fight Kell Brook though, that would be a massive fight in the UK. I get the impression Amir is happy with his US life and settled over there.
