Been a fan of Danny (and Angel) since the Sky Sports Behind The Ropes build up for the Khan fight.
Rooting for him against Thurman but I think Thurman is going to outbox him. But Danny shouldn't be counted out.
Danny Garcia seems to be a well grounded individual and genuinely a good guy. Despite the hurdles he had to go through as a kid, he has proven himself worthy in his position as a world champion. Good luck to him. May the best man win on March 4.
Danny is a likeable guy, very soft spoken, no disrespect in his voice. Keif Zurman doe will beat him in a boxing match. Slugging it out doe that's a different scenario.
them gold shoes doe
Not pretty :lol1:
But good to get these insights from DSG. He seems like a proud dude who doesn't want that soap opera story around him - just get credit for his skills in the ring
Decent interview, Danny Garcia seems to have a certain charisma about him! He seems to be a very marketable fighter, and its a blessing that he is Latino! aside from the Mexican's, he will always have a fanbase because of his families origins. I think he has improved since his Amir Khan fight, because lets face it? he was getting wasted by Amir Khan until he closed his eyes and threw a hook! I wonder how the rematch would turn out....
Still he has been in some great fights, i always remember the hype surrounding his fight up against Lucas Matthysse!
