I dare anyone to have Deontay Wilder on the P4P list and try to convert this forum into their reasoning as to why he deserves to be there. no backsies!!

GGG's opposition may not be that good but it's vastly superior to Wilder's opposition. Go to boxrec and see where their respective opponents are ranked. Boxrec may not be the best at ranking boxers but they are neutral and the only ones who go low enough to rank some of the bums Wilder has fought. Most of GGG's opponents are still ranked in the top 20 and several of them are still ranked in the top 10. Wilder has fought one guy ranked number 10 and that's Stiverne. All the rest of his opponents are down at 25th to 50th. Wilder is on few top 10 pfp lists because most fans and places that make such lists think there are more than 10 boxers who are looking better than him pfp.If you think he deserves to be high up in the top 10 pfp then put him up there. Nobody's PFP list is any better than anybody else's list. It's all just personal opinion and can't be proven right or wrong unless two guys on the list are the same weight and fight each other. Sometimes it seems more like a popularity contest.

He has more knockouts then GGG and actually won his title in the ring...Would all the people who praise GGG and Kovalev praise Wilder if his name was Desorkei Wildercoff? Can't ignore the fact that his resume is, at best and being kind, significantly worse than Golovkin's or Kovalev's. His race wouldn't blind us to the fact that his boxing skills are also subpar. GGG and Kovalev look spectacular against their overmatched opponents, Wilder doesn't. So no he wouldn't be on any P4P lists.

The name does kind of sound badass lol But these stupid racial threads need to stop. Kovalev and Golovkin get praise not only because of their power, but because of their skills. Wilder will be plenty popular if he stays healthy and keeps winning.
