If Spence beats Brook comfortably and a rematch is warranted where does Brook go?
Does he keep killing himself to make 147 and grind his way to another title shot or does he go up to 154 and not find much success amongst the best there?
He really is in a tough spot.
Ok, if that's the way you saw it, you're entitled to your opinion, I'm entitled to mine.
Thanks.
It looked like Brook got dropped in the 3rd. Sky conveniently didn't replay it.
Seeing as you were there did you see it as a knockdown?
Landed a few punches lol. He got hurt in the 5th and took a beating then, up until that point it was competitive of course with GGG having the upper hand.
Brook was giving him a good fight, that's undeniable. Saying he got steamrolled is just not true.

I was AT the fight.
It was not competitive.
Where did you watch it from?
Brook took the fight for money. No problem with that, it was a business decision but let's not think that an undefeated welter champion landing a few punches on a middlewieght makes it "competitive" as, at that point, people might be inclined to question what you know about boxing . . . .

goddam? #1p4p? This over ward, ggg, rigo, loma, garcia or thurman? Bro spence got a while more rep to gain. I can tell you got spence on a pedestal.
Haha! I was being sarcastic calm down.
I think Brook should probably be a slight favourite to beat Spence.
However the Golovkin fight was definitely NOT competitive.

This has got to stop. How was Brook competitve. Because he got a few shots in?
Posters here act like Brook's orbital bone injury wasn't caused by Golovkin's power. Did he have a pre-existing injury prior to that fight? If not, Brook's movement and athleticism was no match for Golovkin's heavy hands and ring cutting power.
As a more mobile WW you are supposed to get a few shots in on a MW. Does anybody really thing that Rigo couldn't land a few shots on, say, Orlando Salido. Of course he would, but eventually he's probably get ground down. That is what we call a predictable ending.
Do you think Golovkin wouldn't get a few shots in on Stevenson? He would but he's get ground down. That doesn't make it competitive does it.
One more? How about James DeGale and Usyk ? Same ending.
In short, Brook was outgunned in the end. He didn't have the power to keep Golovkin off him and if his team hadn't thrown in the towel he's have been on the floor like Daniel Geale.
I watched the fight many times. Very competitive, give and take.
Yes a broken orbital bone caused the fight to end - Yes it was caused by a GGG punch. Not taking anything away from GGG, but he didn't get a beatdown like has been said.
It just didnt happen.
Well a win over Kell Brook will probably lead most people to putting Errol Spence, Jr. #1 pound for pound. So there's nothing to be ashamed of is there?goddam? #1p4p? This over ward, ggg, rigo, loma, garcia or thurman? Bro spence got a while more rep to gain. I can tell you got spence on a pedestal.
If Brook loses by KO against Spence I don't think he will be the same fighter ever.
He moves up to 154 I guess he can fight the Liam Smith's of the UK and find a way to win a title at 154 against a weak champ but I doubt that will happen because I don't see him beating any of the champs at 154.
It's a weird thing to talk about since Brook has won all of his fights except for against GGG which was competitive and didn't even end in a KO.
Brook is totally fine where he is, even if he loses to Spence which is very unlikely.
Your one of a few on here talking sense, Algiers is Spencer's best opponent. Lots of Americans HOPING he lives up to THEIR expectations, it astounds me how a lot of the posters on here are blowing so much smoke up spences arse yet the same posters are hating on ggg, spence is just about to be let go in the big pond, he could quite easily be gobbled up

He would probably be then ready for Khan, Khan just want Brook to be war torn a bit like himself, before jumping in the ring with him. Tougher opponents/style can really make you shop worn. The Khan fight would be there waiting for Brook even if he loses.
there are still a lot of options if he loses to spence.
ideally he would fight khan, although i dont see khan fighting him if he won let alone lost.
next best shot would be hoping thurman loses to garcia and fight him. were thurman to win he would probably fight spence and garcia would take on spence or khan before brook win or loss imo.
next best options after that are bradley or broner imo, broner is unlikely if he takes a second loss in a row but bradley might happen since he is coming off a loss himself.
worst case scenario he fights vargas, berto, guerrero or rematches porter. which despite being the worst case scenario are still some solid fights. should all be rather easy to make as well for various reasons.
brook is still in good shape if he loses. should avoid 154 though, as good as he is i dont see him doing well there.
Not saying that
Just seems maybe he could use fresh knowledge
Couldn't hurt

to answers TS question...Back to Khan..Brook has no business at 154
That bum Khan will be lucky if Brook decides to change his life. he's too busy wanking off on ****hub currently
