You know, I re-watched the fights over the weekend and not being a fan of neither of these 2, I do have to say I felt Granados easily won this fight. Broner was too inactive, he was too complacent in there and he had moments where you saw the difference in talent, but it wasn't often enough. To me, this was more decisive than the Porter-Broner fight. Granados hit him clean, hit him with shots that were partially blocked and, to me, did more damage throughout the rounds.
Sucks for Granados, because one of these days he's going to lose that hunger and luster to give it his all because he knows he'll be in a situation where the odds are stacked against him.
I find it impressive that you were able to score a non-existent round.
Perhaps CJ Ross scored rounds 13, 14 and 15 for Canelo against Mayweather! Now that draw makes sense!
Hahaha, yeah, I impressed myself too.
I scored the 15th round for Broner. I think he hurt Granados when he fvcked him up the @ss.
I didn't even know Top Dog was fighting! He's got tremendous heart, swag :lol1:.. but there's something about his mental toughness.
You can foul him a couple times, and it completely distracts him, and gets him out of his game. Its a fight...foul the guy back, and move on. If it continues, well, its going to be a dirty fight. He was taking it to Stevenson, when he let the roughhousing get to him.
That was a very dirty move by Marcus Browne, and he's lucky he didn't get disqualified. Even Roy Jones got his first (DQ) loss on such a foul.
Top Dog had clearly been knocked down, his glove touched the mat. Browne apparently didnt appreciate roughhousing that had been going on up to that point. So he got caught up in the moment, and took a free head shot on a downed, defenseless opponent. Too Dog maybe overreacted to it, to get the point deduction, but it was an intentional cheap shot, in which Browne was fortunate in avoiding a DQ.
I don't know...for it to be Broner's hometown, that crowd reaction was NOT unanimous. There were scattered boos, and even support for his opponent. Probably why Broner went above and beyond to tell the crowd that he's a changed man.
This was a pretty sloppy fight by both guys but it was fairly entertaining.
I thought Granados deserved the decision but I could be wrong because I didn't score round by round.
The fact that it was hard to score shows how close it really was.
I gave up scoring like after the 3rd cuz it became too close and too entertaining.
More than a little. Dude is definitely looking haggard in the face. More than just boxing damage. He wants us to believe he pure now doe.
Yeah, it's a shame this guy doesn't have more discipline. It's obvious he has the athletic talent and he has an entertaining personality too, even though he can sometimes be easy to hate.

The difference was the last 2 rounds. Broner was catching Granados with clean shots too often.
I understood Granados' gameplan, make it a dog fight, but Granados was a little bit too greedy on the inside. Got caught with a lot of clean uppercuts.
Hernandez even said it after the 4th or 5th round, to move his head.
If Granados won that last round, he would've won the fight.
Granados belongs here. Because of his heart, he's a live fighter against anybody.
I thought Granados won the last round. Broner was mauled throughout the round until the last 30 seconds or so, when he caught Granados with some good punches but he didn't deserve the round for that.
A.B put a beating on Granados, look at him. What grit by the 'Problem' -- I'm going to go collect some money. Stay hating.
Shouldn't you be in jail or something?

Not if he stays at 147 son, your boy looks weak as **** at WW.
He best learn how to cut like he used to or any prime WW is gonna smash him into next week.
He won by a round tonight, and looked unconvincing doing it.

I didn't score the fight, but I thought Broner lost, or at least a draw. The lesson to Broner should be to stay in shape in between fights if he wants to fight at the top level. He looked trash tonight. Neither boxer was impressive.
What is the compubox stats?
I'll check for them when I get home...but I'll probably be to lit to post. But I should get around to it if I capped it -- not even sure I left the dvr on.
You think Broner can beat Berto?
You read my mind, I was just thinking about berto after I posted.
I honestly think berto would be to explosive n powerful for broner and would cause a lot of the same problems that Porter did for broner.
Berto' weakness is guys with high grueling work rates
Rematch would probably be in Broner's best interest considering I don't like his chances against a lot of the top welters. Props to both men. Fun fight. I had it for Granados but I could see how Broner would get it.
