Joe Calzaghe should have rematch Robin Reid

It was a very close fight which some folks saw Robin Reid winning it. They were dead even according to the punch stats. Reid landed the harder punches, and had the better defense in that fight. and was ahead for most of the fight, and was landing more accurately than joe throughout.. but joe in his crafty way capitalising on higher output later due to those outstanding lungs of his. Joe just had an endless tank, incredible. Sad that his tank wasnt matched by his fairness to offer a rematch when he knew he might well lose. But if you think about if from joes point of view, if he'd have picked up losses early in his career, he might have been derided and never got a chance at a major world title challenge before retiring.

Mario Veit, stopped in one round, by JC, was the only boxer Joe fought twice. Calzaghe didn't seem to relish rematches with opponents he won disputed decisions over like Reid and Hopkins.

Reid won that fight.

I thought Reid won.

It seemed he couldn't miss Calzaghe with the right hand that night. Joe was very overconfident going into that and Reid was very motivated, his dislike of Calzaghe was real. Does anyone remember the ice cream with glass in it that Calzaghe was given before the fight?

Reid should've got a rematch with Ottke after they robbed him. Where was the IBF on that?

That's why Floyd rematch Castillo to prove that he was the better man. He was also injured like Calzaghe in their first fight.
