CHRIS EUBANK yesterday declared that his son is boxing's Special One'. Eubank will be chief cornerman for his son Chris's bid to take the IBO world super middleweight title from Aussie Renold Quinlan tomorrow night in London. And he said: "My son is special in every way because he's been brought up by a peculiar man me. Let me tell you that we are crazy and totally deluded. He doesn't smell nice like me but he is more like his mother to the point where he just wants to get his job done." Click Here To Read More]
You serious? He just lost his pen when it came time to sign to fight GGG less than a year ago. Sure you actually watch boxing?
I should ask you the same question, I have known a promoter to tell the truth, Eddie Hearn screwed him over to get one over on Eubank Sr.
Next thing you gonna tell me Hearn is a god
I have watched more boxing than you had birthday boy:burnup::crackhead
interesting...
it's the usual suspects: GGG guzzlers commenting on Eubank Jr...
lol
And as usual here you are commenting on ggg and his fans! Pot, kettle, black
Yes he stepped up and lost a split decison to a bum who who holds the world title.
**** ppv but it is a start in the right direction i don't see Canelo, GGG or Chavez mention his name

I'll fight this punk, tired of hearing him run his trap. Tie him up, take away all his distance so he can't get any leverage on his shots, eliminate his ability to move and beat that liver to a pulp......8 rd ko, bank on it.
Junior has improved since that loss... Everyone knows he would avenge that quite easily. I don't know if it was such a bad idea to avoid triple G this early in his career.
If I was his team I would have that boy fighting every week if I could! Seriously, just let him feast on the fair to middlin Euro fighters around and then...in another year or so, fight the big fish like triple G. The real problem with these guys is they place too much stock on staying undefeated. WHO GIVES A *****!!!! Fight regularly. Wanna bet that Derrick Chisora will get another chance to fight for the championship? Ditto for Judah, even at his advanced age?
If these guys would fight and even lose a few times, get experience they would ultimately become excellent fighters with experience...Orlando Salido being a great example. This kid talks too much and should just be fighting as much as he can. So when he faces another puncher like triple G he has the skills to win, because he has the talent to do it, to make a run if he gains the understanding.
Fighting opponents such as this you could be around for the next 100 years .....this pair of idiots think they are clever....last year Sr. cost his son between £3-5 million ....Very clever ...shouts everybody out except AJ. and fights a guy for @ 100/1 on !
I wouldn't trust Sr. to carry my kit!
So, sorry does he actually think he is going to be a world champion after winning that title on Saturday? I like Eubank Jr as a fighter and he always makes for an exciting fight but this being any kind of PPV is a joke.
Plus the duck of Golovkin was embarrassing, however I doubt him or his deluded dad feel any embarrassment. He would have made a hell of a lot more money for that fight that he will make for this fight and there were real world titles at stake.
I'm afraid I had pretty high hopes for JR. and maybe he'll still make something of it BUT as it stands your post is the one that makes sense.

He can emulate his dad by only being in a couple of defining fights in his entire career, yet talk like he's a shoo in for the HoF. At least Benn went across the pond and fought Berkley and took on McClellan at home. Daddy Eubank's biggest night/win was vs Benn, and that was back in 1990, ffs. I remember his 10 fight deal with Sky that introduced us to the likes of Mauricio Amaral Costa and Dan Schommer. He wanted none of James Toney et al.
Tired of the amount of talking him and his dad do. I was a fan of his dad, and I liked Jr. at first. All this talking without backing it up is getting old now though. Won't surprise me if he wins the IBO then defends it like it's a legit, lineal title.

You know I never thought of that, they dont say **** about him...hmmm
Both are ass hats, but entertaining lol. Dislike both of them.with that said I'm not sure about jr. I mean he is always in superb shape fights very well , I want to see him with world level comp. BJS..i give em a pass for that I truly believe he is a way better fighter now..but I think he needs to prove it by beating a world level fighter before talking like this.
A bum proclaiming that he can drink a lot of cheap booze. What he has to do is step it up in competition, why he didn't sign the contract to fight GGG? And constantly talks about him, that he can beat him, that has the tools, but didn't have the tools to sign the contract, lol! both him and his father are clowns.
The SMW division is pretty strong with guys like Degale, Groves, Callum Smith in the UK alone.
I'd say any of the above beat Eubank, and that's just in the UK.
Eubanks resume is stacked with Polish bartenders, Australian farmers and a few British scaffolders.
The only time he stepped up in opposition he got beaten.
Eubank beats them all. Groves would be the closest fight.
