GERVONTA DAVIS announced himself as a world star at the weekend with a stunning win over Jose Pedraza to claim the IBF super featherweight title. Well now it is time for Liam Walsh to make his name known worldwide. That is because Walsh is mandatory challenger for Davis' newly acquired IBF belt and it is not a fight we will be avoiding. He's not letting Walsh anywhere near Davis. Warren is one of the leeriest promoters out there. He has Flanagan still looking for a break out fight and Brook didn't face a threat until he cashed in. Hearn takes more chances, but he still connives, it's in his nature.
Different style, whole different out of ring beha...
Whatever...
Guess you just decided to not like him and spew unlogical **** now, I don't argue.
comparing him to AB means I don't like him? I see similarities in their styles. and the hype for AB was through the roof until he met Maidana. the hype for Davis is reaching that level.
it's a compliment. Davis seems a bit more disciplined and willing to learn so he might be even better than AB.. I'm just talking on their styles not their behavior outside the ring.
Gervonta Davis is Adrien Broner.. before Maidana.

"We are disappointed the Mexican superstar has opted for that fight rather than taking on Billy Joe Saunders for the WBO middleweight title.
But I suppose the money on offer to face a fellow Mexican around a big holiday in their country is understandable."
First of all, you blew the chance at setting up a lucrative showdown against Canelo when you didn't allow BJS to have a showcase fight against Rosado on his PPV undercard. That would have introduced him to a large American audience and served to hype him up.
Second, of course it's understandable that an all-Mexican showdown will be profitable. It's the same principle behind shoddy British domestic fights that always seem to draw money. You should know.
And Gervonta Davis will make mincemeat out of Liam Walsh.
Walsh is a good boxer with an eye-pleasing style but he'll be at a big athletic disadvantage against Gervonta. If he can avoid being dropped it could get interesting though
