“I think then in about 18 months, Golovkin will be fighting and staying at 168. Maybe in 36 months, I can see him stopping and fluctuating between 168 and 175.
“The direction that Tom Loeffler and (managers) the Hermann Brothers take GGG's career will be determined by what’s in the best interest of GGG and boxing. But it will depend on the possible big fights not just talking - but actually getting in the ring.”
how is that a good post when i killed his excuse?
larry stop killing everyone. amateurs don't cut weight because they fight so often. floyd merely delayed the process of moving up by cutting weight for so long.
Alright I sent green k to the both of you no more negativity pls
self-proclaimed victories are typically inaccurate.
you conveniently forget the fact that floyd turned pro at 19 years old, but ggg didnt until age 24, and as we all know there are usually some pretty significant physical changes in fighters between ages 19 and 24.
Fyi, at age 19, ggg was competing at 147.
did you not post this??? At 24 was floyd not at 130? So what was the point of this post?

fvck amatuers...at 24 Floyd was at 130 AS A PRO!!!..at 24 GGG was at 160 AS A PRO!!!

If/when he beats Jacobs and there's no sign of the Canelo fight happening then he should move up.
There's nothing left for him at 160 apart from Canelo which i don't see happening as long as GGG is still looking good. Golden Boy won't be risking their only star being flattened.
Lol good post green k sent

FYI, at age 19, GGG was competing at 147.
now you're being retarded. I might as well say GGG moved up more because he went from an infant up to 160, but Floyd only went from an infant up to 154.
You literally tried to use the excuse of GGG turning pro at 24 and i simply said Floyd from 24 moved up from 130-154...now you have no excuses..simple

At 24 Floyd was still at 130 he did not move to 135 until he was 25..next excuse

"154-168...easy for me.." 2013 Ellie Seckbach interview..
Litttle gee was just theorizing boxing and weight efforts when he said that because he had never been in the Olympics nor had a good amateur career to know what he was talking about.
But you think he needs to be at 176 to compete at 168...
And what year did the 3 stooges want Chavez Jr. Or Froch at 168? Didn't people claim Ward ducked Golovkin pre 2014? What weight would that have been at? :trink26:
golovkin had 350ish amateur fights. won silver at the olympics. gold at the worlds. beat dirrell, despaigne, bute, korobov, lee, geale, some of the best fighter at or around the weight at the time, and many of whom were able to win world titles in the pros and make a lot of money.

130-154=24 pounds
160-175=15 pounds..
your math is off

Ma man "Mexican style" heheh good boy hehehe
? ggg has a Mexican style? I just don't think going up in weight at age 35 or 36 with his style will benefit him
